Dude does your vagina itch or something. Grow up man. Verge’s kids made a decision and they need to live with that decision, not you. Get over it !!!!!!!

Just my opinion but I bet Verge comes home and night and complains about his job to this wife probably once every week for the last several years. His kids hear that growing up. Over a long period of time that negative talk has a negative impact on LSU whether it is meant or not. It just becomes the kids perception of LSU. Add a couple of terrible seasons by Coach O and I can see why Verge's kids have looked elsewhere.

If Verge hadn't spent so much time in the sun as a youngster, you can bet your arse he would have been fired. In today's climate, he"s untouchable unless a female accuses him of sexual harassment and he can't prove her wrong.

He’s married to a Morial.
Pretty sure he’s set to coast until he’s ready to go.

Sounds like those boys had to find their own grift, Daddy didn't want them cutting in on his!

What does Verge exactly do? He is responsible for scheduling? It doesn’t seem like that is working out very well. He was part of the problems we had with covering up sexual misconduct. He is not loyal to our program. His kids are irrelevant. I would not be sorry to say goodbye to him.

Yes there are lots of southern non Jews on Wall Street, most of them from Auburn. (Lol)
WHAT AN ARROGANT bullshite STATEMENT. IS HE REALLY that stupid.

Let the kids go where they want to.

Those boys are his sons! That is 400 times more important than his alma mater or his employer.
Good for Verge. He showed his sons all of their options; he gave them guidance, but he allowed them to make their own decisions; and he is holding them accountable for those decisions. THAT is good parenting!

these kids should be Tigers thru and thru. Living and breathing all the legend and lore of Tiger football. It’s hard to believe they choose to go elsewhere.
I've been a Tiger fan since I was four years old, and I'm 60 now. I used to listen to the games on the radio by myself when I was a kid. I graduated from LSU, and I love the school and football program.
However, if my son had been a four star football recruit I would have advised him to use that to go somewhere like Notre Dame or Stanford, where they could develop a great national network of friends and associates.
In short, I would have pushed for what was best for my kids.

I would have liked them to go to LSU, but really didn’t read anything wrong with how he handled the situation.
How did his kids NOT bleed P&G? What was he telling them while he was raising them? Did he not tell them the history of Tiger Stadium? How it is the BEST venue in all of football at any level in the US?
Where else would anyone want to play football, but in Tiger Stadium? What was Verge thinking while he raised his kids?
If a person wants to play football and go to business school, LSU is a good school unless they can go to an Ivy league school for business, then forget football.

He let his sons make their own decisions. Simple as that. I completely understand that and why his kids chose to leave Baton Rouge.
Except if they decide they want to transfer from their current schools.

LSU needs to think of its future. There are better options out there than Verge. $500k is way too much for that guy! I would suggest he start putting his resume out there. Call ol’ Nick
