As incredible as it would be to land all of these guys, still wouldn't be top 3.
If you include everyone mentioned on that list, it would take us to 287. Putting us in 3rd right now.
Meaning the top 2 are uncatchable and you'd have to get no further signings from the current top 6.
But who frickin cares what are ranking number is if we land all these guys. It would be an incredible haul.

Think everyone has been kinda 50/50 with him. Not a surprise at all on this board to many if he doesn't finish with this class.

I’m trying to remember how long ago it was, but 287 was a top 2 class 10+ years ago. 300+ Used to be a god tier class. Now it’s just top 3. I’ll take this class any day of the week. Half of Saban’s five stars have been underperforming or transferring. Look at Drew Sanders.
Edit: I stand corrected. Looking back now at class rankings, there was a 300+ almost every year from 2010-2014. Memory is fading me.

We seem to be particularly adept at winning Championships without consistent top-3 classes anyway. Seems the Louisiana prospects are usually underrated in aggregate. I’m on board BK’s train.

Yep, Les was the king at landing top 3-5 classes due to focusing on only skill players late in his tenure.
