Emery has to learn the schemes first. He could be an all time back, but if he can't learn pass protection he won't do us much good.

You lack zero foresight as usual. I look forward to you piggy backing my points again In a few months

It would be a miss. Would it drag down the class? Of course not but the staff prioritized 1 RB for this class and he's our top targets. Good thing we will still have Jan to get another. Also no lock he actually signs early.

what's to say Emery wouldn't be the one we might lose to transfer?

what's to say either one of them is going to transfer? Seen this mentioned quite often and wondering where is it coming from. Has Curry been hinting around that he may enter the transfer portal?

Curry deserves every opportunity to move up the chart, just like Darryl Williams did, Brossette, etc. and others before them. Curry looks very good lately, and he’s 2 years into the program with 2 years of S&C. Zach is no definite 1st day starter, and he’s seeing 3 studs in front of him

No idea where it's coming from and I've also only seen it mentioned here. I was only responding to the hypothesis that Curry was only getting carries the last two weeks to prevent him from transferring, which I didn't agree with.

Vol did say Evans is coming here.
Even if doesn’t, we will be ok next year with Davis-Price, Emery and Curry.

Nobody needs to worry. The guy at Mapquest told me galena park is about the same distance from baton rouge and college station so distance definitely not a factor

Don’t get lost in the flavor of the month

He is considered by many to be the best RB to come out of the state of TX since Adrian Peterson

I wouldn't call that flavor of the month

Lol yeah. Top 3 class would be an epic fail without a RB especially the year after taking TDP and Emery lol

This is right.

Saying we need a RB in this class isn't wrong. Saying you want 4 scholarship RBs isn't wrong.

But using the term "epic fail" is wrong. It simply isn't that level of a problem. And, I do realize that there is some risk that someone can transfer. But, I don't see that happening if we end up not signing a RB. It would be guaranteed playing time for every guy here.

It's an epic fail for the RB position. The class is obviously going to be great. Didn't think that had to be explained, but there it is.

Losing Evans would be disappointing.

Losing Evans to A&M specifically would be embarrassing.

If by "epic fail" you mean that we can potentially be short at the RB position, yeah.

But, that's why the other poster rightfully called it hyperbole. And, you've argued that for multiple posts.

A reasonable position would be that, if we don't get a RB, we could be vulnerable to injury or any kind of attrition. Instead EPIC FAIL!!!!!

Keep up with the hot takes.

Emory will learn it. And probably has to an extent, we just can't afford to put that maybe on the table with a 13-0, Heisman, and NC season on the line. Emory will be ok guys. And if we get Evans, they all three will find the field.

which would make it an epic fail

if Curry transfers and they dont get a RB, then what?
