Y’all’s program and A&M suffer from the same inflated sense of belonging because you have money. Money that hasn’t bought them a championship since before WWII and y’all’s one title in the last 50 years. All that money and top talent with one championship to show for it between you. Spare me with the thought of things will be different in the NIL era. We take plenty of elite players from Texas that y’all want too. This isn’t Kentucky or Miss State you’re talking to.

We will pick someone we really want and drop a huge opportunity on whoever it is . They will promise someone a huge nil deal if they sign. I believe Perkins was that guy last year . Texas has money but lsu isn’t dead when it comes to nil

I'm very familiar with LSU, been cheering for yall in the SEC for 27 years. All sorts of family thats gone there. I know who I'm talking to. Yall are so rabid and motivated to win you'll funnel money through freaking cancer hospitals to get it done.
Theres a reason yall are starting to post hilariously hypocritical stuff about Texas paying players. The game has changed. We are in a time of massive upheaval in college football. The bag game is being pushed out by NIL. That sucks for Bama and LSU particularly. That doesnt suck for Texas, UGA, Tennessee, A&M, etc. It is what it is.

Perkins took less money to play at LSU. Yall still have a culture advantage over most programs.

That culture is exactly what’s gonna prevent Texas from coming in here and taking whoever they want.
The players who value core more than big dollars to play at a shitty program typically pan out better.
Just look at the titles, draftees, and coaches who’ve come through here. Texas will never be on LSU’s level

We will take players from you that you will need to win at a high level. A&M will do the same. It's not going to be positive for your program. I personally agree that we are too dysfunctional to put it all together and go on a big run. I havent said that once.
I am saying Texas is going to make it more difficult for LSU to hold on to in state players. $$$ talks. Whats so controversial about that?

And just like 8&4….a year after you pay absurd amount of money for these so called players….they’ll be transferring out to play for a real contender!!!! Remember one thing bud…players will not stay around to play for a team that every single year underachieves!! Y’all haven’t been good enough to win the Big XII….but y’all think y’all about to come into the toughest conference….you know what I’ll leave it at that. Everyone knows y’all ain’t shite

I'll let you in on a little secret: we could have a losing season every year we are in the SEC and we will still be able to pull elite recruits from both high school and the portal as long as we keep paying. Players don’t transfer out if staying put makes the most $$$ sense. If your thesis is kids and their families will take less money to play at LSU then good luck to you. I hope you're right because I don’t particularly enjoy what college football has become.

Let’s look at a little history with LSU, the last three head coaches at LSU all won a National Championship. So the odds of Kelly doing it, I’d say, real high.
As for UTx, the last time you won a NC, YouTube was created.
The last three Bowls y’all have been in, were the Alamo Bowl.
I’m trying to find a time as of late when UTx was ranked in the top 5, 10?
