..And with all the crap we hear about the glory days of Bama and how they impatiently await their return to greatness, how can they not be a program on the decline?

The decline of a program and the decline of a fan base's intellect are two separate things.

I am not giving up my source. You'll just have to trust me on this one, FWIW.

If you don't think BAMA is on the decline, then you are insane. They got killed by UTAH. Last year's regular season success was a fluke with a weak schedule and a senior QB. They will lose 3-4 games in 2009 with no QB, and a much tougher SEC schedule.

They're not going to win 2 NC's in 5 years, but 3 losses would be 2 less than we had this year and only one more than we had in '06 and '07.

I just don't see the point in acting that way toward their program. Sure they have many fans that do that, but you desire to be one of ours that do that?

Can you at least give some general information about your source? The possibility of Sentimore switching to LSU this late in the process still seems far-fetched to me.

Their SEC schedule looks easier in 09 than it was in 08.

Stop hijacking the thread Bama-apologists....the "decline" debate is an infinite one....

the point is that Bama's prized LA recruit will break their heart and be a Tiger come NSD.

Bama loses 2 games, 3 games max next year...don't let one bad performance fool you! They have a stellar young defense and thats what won them games this year and will next year as well...

It's tougher because LSU won't be taking a year off.

Your team is laughably weaker too.

I'll bet anyone here $100 Bama doesnt win 10 games next year.

LSU, Auburn and Tennessee will be better than they were in 2008. And that's just for starters. Ole Miss and Arkansas will improve, and probably Miss State as well.
