SEC recruiting rankings and coaching

Five of the top ten national recruiting teams are, according to 247, from the SEC. With eight being in the top twenty. ... With talent so close, that's where the coaching comes in. The organization, culture and trust built within the programs are vital. Dealing with NIL so you don't have a jealous Texas A$M-type locker room is also important. I think BK is the perfect man for LSU.

Sec getting half of the top 10 recruiting classes has been that way for the last 20-30 years

I believe his point isn’t so much the recruiting standings, it’s that this is the first time since Saban that we have a coach that can actually out-coach other very talented teams.
