Life in Louisiana is not all about LSU. If Miles wouldn't have taken for granted Janzen singing and paid attention to Kiffin and Tennessee he could have seen what was coming.

Miles recruitment of Janzen was a little cocky on his part.

Fowler showed him again that things change at the last minute.

I think the difference would be the behavior of the coaches, was the LSU staff suggesting Martin keep his commitment secret or prolong the notional or apparent commitment to another school?

A kid can change his mind at the last moment that is why the commitments aren't valid till the national signing date. We expect professionalism out of highly paid coaches, not highly sought after 17 to 19 year old high school scholars.

Wow, someone makes a commitment to you, you believe their word is good. Then when they renege, its on you?

Since January 25 a lot of things have transpired. Do not base your opinion on that old news. He may not come to LSU, but a great deal has transpired since that article.

Is he in legal trouble or was that just an unfounded rumor?

What I have read on Fowler is he was an LSU fan and most of his family wanted him at LSU, but his mother wanted him to go to Texas. I guess mama won out, I wish him the best at Texas.

That kind of comment just shows complete lack of understanding of that recruitment and what the end result was.

Your obviously a Miles hater and you are entitled to your own opinion. However, you are not entitled to your own facts. Jackson never publicly or privately wavered on his commitment to LSU. He and Kiffin conspired to delay the signing of his LOI for a day under the guise that he wanted his mother to be there and then proceeded to sign with UT. It also prevented LSU from offering another safety who LSU liked but didn't have room for. That kid signed elsewhere.

The same thing happen this year.

The kid wanted playing time and Tennessee gave it to him.

By the way, Kiffin hit rock bottom but learned to be a better coach and success followed.
