So I know we are over the limit by a few but does anybody know the exact number and...

What happens if nobody transfers and none of the recruits fail to qualify and you have more scholarship players who are qualified and doing the right things? How does that situation get worked out?

Only LSU really knows the numbers. No one in their right mind would create the scenario you describe. Going in they would have a plan using a combination of transfers, medical releases, and greyshirts to make the numbers work.

Like the other poster said, you would end up having to either grayshirt a bunch of kids or ask some to transfer.

Grey shirt some recruits, coaches try to place some 3rd and 4th string players at a smaller college, Miles takes a scholy away from someone.

I recommend we call Coach $aban.

He knows a thing or 2 about how to deal w/ this situation in a professional and courteous manner befitting an honest gentleman.

Pretty much, they would just count towards next year.

Only if the coaching staff wants it to. The limits are a constraint that you manage. It's only a "problem" when you choose to make it a problem.

Yep, assuming Johns is a 2010 signee we are only 6 over. J Mitch to baseball, one/two 2009 recruits not make grades, and all we are looking at is another 3-4 that need to go which shouldn't be too bad. Crutchfield has to be one unless he improves a boat load.
