Shea Dixon Sonny Shipp and Billy Embody have all lowered their confidence on Sage Ryan to LSU including Embody lowering it to only 1. With Wiltfong and Alabama insiders both nearing a CB it appears the writing is on the wall for Sage Ryan to Alabama. Would be a MASSIVE disappointment for the Tigers

Huge missed opportunity coming off a championship. You can lose the top in state guys.

You can’t force someone to attend LSU. Don’t doubt Saban backed up the brinks truck for Thomas and Ryan knowing LSU losing those two would definitely hurt the momentum LSU was building.

Don’t forget LSU/O got a bunch of guys Alabama really wanted last year.

Yeh. It really put a dent in Bama’s recruiting ranking

So now it’s LSU’s responsibility to hurt Bama’s recruiting rankings as well? y’all need to drop the obsession with them.

Well ... they are the standard

So for LSU to regularly be on Alabama’s level, they kind of have to recruit on Alabama’s level

Not that I don't doubt it, but I'll believe it when I see it...and be very pissed about it. Aside from how highly ranked he is, how good I think he could be, and how much of a need he is...to lose someone in state with so much tie in is infuriating.

I get some guys want to leave the State... but why Alabama in the same division? Go to Clemson, Ohio State or even UGA.... but Alabama? They also have coaches leave all the time, Saban is a grumpy frick that likely won’t even be there long.

If I were a high school kid with college football playing aspirations . I’d look at the roster and the school Alabama has several 5* players ahead of me at my position and the other school I like has only 1 4* and several 3* . I know where’d I’d go because my chances of getting on the field are a while lot better.

Remind me again about how we "lost out" on the following:

Sophser
Moses
Brown
Jones
E Smith
Bulovas
Buggs
Carter

These things typically have a way of working themselves out with a few exceptions.

This is Faulk’s nephew, no?

Him going to Bama would be an EPIC failure on the part of our coaches.

I agree. But if he doesn't want to be here I would rather him not come...

On one hand if he wants to be here he will be huge for the teams defense development

Down voting trolls are out

Brown - Adams
Moses - Queen
Sopher - Anybody we got is better
Hootie - lol

BJT hurts but we never should stress about WR's

Would have played a ton/started.

And you left off quite a few other names that would be starting for LSU right now.

Moses is good. We could definitely use him at LB this year.

Buggs wasn't great but would have played a ton for us.

Sophser is getting playing time as a true sophomore.

Phidarian Mathis (who you left out) has gotten a lot of PT as well this year. Granted he's a RS junior now.

But you also left out Cam Robinson. Who was an enormous loss.

Debatable

Buggs, Carter is nothing we should be melting over.

And I said, "few exceptions". Quit being a pussy.

Quit being a homer. All three of Bama's starting LBs are from Baton Rouge, and right now it's a better LB group than what LSU is putting in the field. Clark has played horribly.
