Ryan is good enough that he could play nickel if needed. They’ll take all 3

I do agree with that, which is why I also think we could take four. Either Makuba or Kendal with Makuba being the more likely of the two.

What's the expectation for this class at safety with the commitments from Gee and Mitchell?

Just like the kid who flipped on us for Clemson last year was listed as a S but recruited to play NB...

There’s no list for projected NB’s...typically listed as S prospects...who tend to be undersized and low ranked comparatively speaking

Sage can play all of them, he will likely be the nickel back and Dakota has the size for CB. I dont know what the staff plans for the them but I'm sure the plan is Sage, Dakota. Khari, Ga'quincy and either Ishmael Ibraheem or Isiah Johnson.

You have by far some of the worst takes. Stevens, Monroe, Cam Lewis and Harris are back and will be gone after this year. Toles and Mo will be studs. DB room is full of talent and coached by some of the best in the business. We only took one last cycle. 3 is the $ number.

Top safety. LSU crystal ball. A 4 star. You would think there would be a 5 star waiting for the top Safety. Fixing the numbers to put the Tigers in their place.

eah I should have looked at the current roster first. Makes more sense to take 3 since Stevens and Vincent are done after this year.

We will be down to 3 safeties next year (excluding recruits). I could see us signing 6 or 7 safeties in the next two years.

LSU will sign three safeties. Dakota Mitchell, Khari Gee and Sage Ryan. Done at safety with those three.

Safety position stacked, SEC fricked!

We often play 3 safeties at a time. We can only hope that Harris returns for his senior year. The only two underclassmen we have now are Hamilton and Toles. God help us if one of them is hurt or anything.
I would take 4 safeties this year in a heartbeat.
And follow that up with 3 next year as well. Particularly if Harris goes into the 2021 Draft. I like to have 9 safeties and 9 corners and LSU is running way short of that mark.

Back to 2017 we signed 3 safeties (Delpit, Stevens, Harris). 2021 safeties room is expect to be hampton, Toles and Harris (If he come back to his senior year). LSU needs 3 safeties this year, it’s not the best scenario for recruits but that you must compete if you going to a big school

Obviously, Ryan is a take if he wants on board. But what would that look like for the other guys if he commits to the Tigers? Does Mitchell or Gee (or Ryan) have potential to move someplace else on Defense? Do they move to a nickle corner position? Honest question for someone more football smart than I am. 3 safeties sounds like a lot.

LSU is losing Stevens, (not Stingley, my bad. Too early in the morning)

Cam Lewis, and although he's never really played, Monroe. There are only 3 safeties behind those guys and one will be a senior, and another a junior in 2021.
