2/3 Michigan State insiders lowered their confidence by a lot because they used to be 6-7 range, all 3 of them.

I just saw that. So they have Colton Hood ahead of him and wouldn't accept his commitment at this time but he's still expected to visit them in June.

Yeah it really doesnt make any sense. They dont even have a single DB committed right now and are supposedly turning away a top 150 guy bc they like a guy ranked in the 600s whose best offers are like Moo State, UNC and Pitt? Not really buying it.

Confidence wasn't high with him staying at one point. Not sure about now. Could be that they want a lot of depth at DB so I don't necessarily think it means he's leaving.

Yeah I don’t understand the early out of state takes when we’ve got top quality Louisiana safeties... how many safeties can we take this class?

I'm not saying I don't want the elite LA talent to come to LSU. I'm also not saying its okay to miss on elite in state talent.
I also have no clue what the in state talent is thinking...
BUT
IF they are looking to leave and our staff knows it, I'd much rather go out and land 4 star out of state kids who want to be here, then get played for another 12 months and get caught with our dicks in our hand on signing day like Coach O and Les loved to do.

I'm sure the Kelly regime has done it's due diligence on each recruit. I think summer camp is where they find some Louisiana gold. Some little recruited Louisiana kid that's just got the special "it." It happens every camp it seems.

Putting all your eggs in one basket results in the roster issue that we got in in the first place.
We can take 2-3 safeties no issue. Hell if they can play corner too, we can take more.
