JAKAI ANDERSON
5.8 RATING
6'0"|165 LBS|WR
MCDONOGH
NEW ORLEANS, LA
CLASS OF 2026
VERBAL 6/22/2024
Jakai Anderson is a technician at wide receiver. The four-star pass-catcher from The Boot made his presence felt in San Antonio with superb route-running and the ability to shake defensive backs repeatedly in and out of his breaks. The early LSU commitment from McDonogh 35 High in New Orleans is impactful working outside and in the slot with great burst off the line and speed to make plays downfield.

ACADIANA
LAFAYETTE, LA
CLASS OF 2026
UNDECIDED
Darryus McKinley put forth a strong showing inside of the Alamodome. After a breakthrough season at Lafayette (La.) Acadiana High School, the four-star DL was explosive off the line during positional drills and showcased his power during the OL-DL showcase. McKinley, who's older brother Dominick was a five-star DL coming off a strong freshman season at LSU, is also physical at the point of attack and is bendy at 6-foot-2 and north of 260 pounds. The Tigers are also well positioned with McKinley.

I have seen him play in person. He will be very good, maybe better than his brother. I do think he is LSUs to lose. Hopefully, Dom loves it at LSU, I think that will go a long way.

He's thin, but smooth. I think is was being recruited as a DB tho

Agreed I.ve known him/Dom since they were like 8 yrs old and Darryus has some growth to his game and will probably be a better player than Dom, he doesn't take plays off and is motor is always running hot, kid will be a good one.

True, I went to school with JJ Meadors, ran the state record 100 at the time, was bow legged and like 5'5

I was actually trying to figure out how to say that without saying it but that was my assessment as well.
I am actually an Acadiana high grad from back in the Stone Ages(1980)
I have a couple of great-nieces that go to Acadian now.
