"Respect my decision" So tired of seeing that today and this past week.

Anyone else hate that statement? Going to let my boss know tomorrow I’m opting out of work until spring 2021 and to respect that decision. The mindset of their generation is sad really.

It’s sad that they have to say it because a bunch of grown adults attack 18 year olds for not choosing to play for their favorite school.

You apparently don’t respect their decision, thus the reason they’re asking you to respect it. I mean they could say get off my nuts and stop crying over where I choose to play.

Guys for example if I’m explaining to you just say how to do something in the most sincere polite way or I’m giving you a 100% heart felt apology as soon as I tell you to respect my decision there’s a gear in us all that it would just grind. I understand these kids make brutal decisions and get hammered by adults they don’t even know but there’s no need to let the world know to respect your decision. Just a bad vibe IMO.
