Ok Zack. You win. Can't constuct sentences.

Your coach friend has more experience than me for sure. I would also go with your friends assessment of Prescott over someone that coached multiple heisman candidates. Gee I think one of them actually won it.

I have nothing against the kid. Hope he does well at MSU. The issue on this board is whether or not LSU should go after him given our problems at QB. This conversation convinced me that we should look elsewhere.

The coach also said that there are no senior QBs in La HSs this year that will start in the SEC. Gotta go out of state.

Dak has really impressive numbers as I've said before and I'm pulling for Haughton to win the State Championship since I live up here and know many people in Haughton who are excited about the team.

Were you around when Bobby Ray McHalffey coached at Haughton? one of my favorite hs coaches and his son is a good friend.

how is your back?

Heard his name but never met him.
HHS is such a weird shaped school. Reminds me of Tioga in Rapides.
My back is fine. My golf game sucks.

This isn't the same 1 or 2 games into the playoff team. Not saying they will be in the Dome, but have best team I've seen at Haughton and I was around in '77 when we won the title and 78 when we almost won it.

Slow down ole tiger. Until Haughton has a defense that resembles the Marston days, they ARE a 1 or 2 games into the playoff team. Yea, they are playing better defense this year, so we will see. But I can tell you that this team doesn't have near the talent that the Haughton team from 77 had (only 4 players went both ways). Also, I have watched Dak play the last 3 years and no one is disputing the kid's talent. He just DOES NOT fit into the system that LSU runs.

Gov, I was there too... also glad you recognize some system that LSU is running; I don't lol

For the record I'm not trying to lobby Prescott for LSU; just disputing some of the erroneous comments about him. He could very well be a flop at the next level; we know others that have.

I hope it works out for him. I am certainly pulling for any kid from Haughton.

Don't judge him unless you, yourself have seen him play. And as far as the other 11 not offering, technically it's not over yet. The other 11 just weren't smart enough to get their foot in the door early. I heard Dak is still receiving letters from Arkansas as well as a few others....So we will see, but Dak is a man of his word and he will be wearing maroon. Starting? Who knows what he can do after a great qb coach like Mullens gets a hold of him.

I'm a Haughton graduate, c/o '09. Glad to see good things happening there; I hope they keep it up and finish strong. I don't think we made it past 1st round of playoffs when I was there. Well, maybe we made it to 2nd round one year?

Depends on the system, and how quickly he grasps it. He has the tools to be successful.
