For sure me too. I was just saying what was rumored which I explicitly said was rumor not fact.

Oh I wasn't attacking you or anything

I don't know the back story of what happened nor will I pretend to have an idea. If there is anything to be learned in todays day and age, there are two sides to every story and we should let the facts come out before scolding people for life/canceling them.
If she really did what she’s being accused of by that one person. We probably shouldn’t be bringing her on. LSU has worked way too hard to establish the team culture that they have today. In addition to the new facilities, support, its one of the biggest draws to many recruits.

I’m mostly curious at this point as to 1) if she can compete this season and 2) if yes do we expect her to make bars/beam line ups

She had surgery on her acl so she’s out for the season.

So moving into next week, hopefully we see Aleah back in the beam lineup. I would be interested to see Dunne get an opportunity here as well.
Floor, we have options but won't have the scoring potential we could have until Bryant and Johnson are back in the lineup.

I’m most looking forward to seeing who goes in on bars. My guess is Tori and Chase. Would love to see Tori get some experience.
Also, regarding beam, I sure hope Aleah anchors. She has the best form on beam on the team.

I will say the only good thing about us missing this week is it gave Haleigh and Sami an extra week of healing. Not saying either would have been in but we didn’t count a score without them either.

Woo, Michigan is going to be tough to beat again this year. Natalie is on fire! Hope she can keep it up! Love to see these girls come in under the radar and dominate.

But those floor scores? Michigan has officially “Oklahoma-d” to say the least.

I agree ‘Michigan fans can no longer complain about tight Big 10 scoring, lol.

Lol. It seems the judges are not deducting for form this year. I’ve watched quite a few meets these first two weeks and there are form issues everywhere. Maybe because of Covid the judges are being more lenient.

Wow Jade Carey! She is Oregon State. Literally.

Whoa!! I missed all this Alexis stuff! But to answer your question, if Alexis transfers and is enrolled she can compete with the team. Classes start this week - so, it’s a complete possibility. There is no mandatory waiting period anymore.
But… just because she has a routine from UCLA, doesn’t mean Jay would compete the same routine. I imagine she spends a few weeks just getting adjusted and reworking routines.

Purely from a gymnastics perspective, the most likely lineup she might join is bars, I think. She has nice form on beam as well and would add depth there. Don't think her full would be used.

That Facebook discussion has gone off the rails. I think I’m done with that group. That being said, does anyone know if there’s any truth to what’s being put out there by the Gobourne woman?

No one here could say if it’s true or not. I would like to hear from someone else (particularly on UCLAs side) other than a mom of an athlete on Auburns team.

Don’t feed into the negativity. From what I‘ve heard about that group, they are very anti-LSU.
