I certainly agree about forgiveness, East Texas! That’s why I was originally supportive of her coming here. Everyone makes mistakes in life and should be given the chance to atone for those mistakes. I just hope she didn’t lie to Jay and ACK about the retaliation. That, to me, is another issue altogether. And I’m NOT saying she lied. But it seems one side isn’t being honest. And I also agree with you about Jay and his staff. I am 100% behind them!

Hi tigerbaiter Thanks for snapshotting a small part of my post and missing the part after this that said there should be a full independent investigation before she is allowed on the team. That was the point it doesn’t matter the context because there are allegations that need to be addressed by an investigation. If someone has allegations of racism against them there should be an independent investigation clearing her of wrongdoing before being allowed on the team.

Sorry I’m so “scary and stupid” that I want there to actually be some sort of proper investigation by an independent body before allowing someone on the team who has allegations of racism against them.

I note that my post was prior to jays press conference and there was some kind of investigation done by Lsu which I appreciate but I would have preferred for this to have been done completely independently from the school. Happy that ack was involved though which does give slight independence to it but still with such serious allegations such a racism outside people would have been better.

Not sure why people are trying to insult and attack other people on this message board for different views to them. Different views are fine but insults about each other personally need to stop.

In my view that is racism and should not be and should not be happening Understand everyone had different views. However as other commenters have stated there are allegations that she was told it’s wrong and carried on doing it and that it was upsetting her teammates but carried on doing it and that there were other comments made by her that could be considered racist. That’s why in my view an Independent investigation would be best because it was clear up exactly what happened I think this would benefit Lsu an and ucla to have the facts clear as well as aj herself
