Anyone else in the transfer portal that we’ve been in contact with? A lot of big names have been added in the last week.

Rumor is Kristina Foreman has been on a visit to Baton Rouge.....stud.
Hit .400 for Duke last year with 15 homers, 2nd baseman.
That would be an enormous upgrade for our lineup.

Actually Arkansas is set for a major step backwards this coming year, 6 of their top 7 offensive players graduated this year, also one of their top 2 pitchers.

Glad to see that Beth is working the portal to get two bigger bats and defensive players at C and 2B to take place of Cummins and Peterson.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is the first time Torina has picked up multiple transfers over an off-season since Schulte and Schlattman. So definitely a step in the right direction to use the portal to fill in the gaps.
Any chance she could be pursuing any other transfers, specifically to help with our pitching? I know it was mentioned previously we were in contact with Kilfoyl. I think another big pitcher would be the final piece of the puzzle for a proficient offseason to strengthen this already strong team.

Kilfoyl said no from what I heard.

Do we know anything about Edwards and Casanova? They had what maybe 7 innings combined this year? Are they projects or what?

Yes Edwards and Casanova are projects, and both are from Louisiana so are more than likely not costing the program any scholarship money to have on the team.
