Meet notes have Sami in over chase on vault, Dean over chase on bars, Alyona over Reagan on beam, and Sierra and Elena on floor (no Reagan or Kota)

I mean Desiderio has almost injured herself her last few floor appearances, Campbell is out this week, they are still resting Kiya for just a little bit longer. Not much room elsewhere.
Just have to suck it up until Kiya gets back.
Dunne honestly would be a nice floor worker for us but it appears COVID has impacted her stamina the way they have talked about it so I am assuming thats why she has been doing bars only.
It also hurts a bit not having Kai because that was a floor routine we were excited about for this year. Plus we miss her depth on vault and bars.

Of course, I didn’t think before asking with both Reagan and Kiya out that makes sense.
I’m very nervous about this meet. Bama will be looking for a huge win. They are at home, and we are dealing with some injuries. I wonder if Brock has something going on now too.

Wasn't at all insinuating that you said she wasn't. Was just reminding everyone that she is. While yes beam and floor are her stronger events overall, she has the clean elite polish and trains under the same coach that Kiya, Reagan and Kaytlyn have/had, so we know from watching Kiya and Reagan these past 2/4 years respectively at LSU that Annie's form will translate over well on that event

Well look now who is missing the Florida meet tonight due to COVID protocols...let’s see how the gymternet responds to that. Wonder if they’ll even be able to put up 5 on vault.

LSU had enough bodies to compete the first time vs Auburn but delayed it a week to be safe. Auburn actually agreed to it as well as they needed more time to get some kids back as well.

I was just going to say - also, like many other teams have had some COVID issues (just going to happen) and no one has gotten flack like LSU. Its maddening - glad the team seems to have a good perspective on ignoring the gymternet.

What pisses me off most: LSU delays the meet to be safe for everyone with one individual out instead of just competing with who we had and the gymternet goes off on the team and calls them reckless, stupid, irresponsible, etc. Florida has 5+ people out including their head coach and let’s the meet go on as planned and the gymternet says nothing. Talk about top ranked team/national champion privilege. I still stand by Jay’s call and wish more teams would follow his lead but then again LSU is hated so much that I don’t expect anyone to ever.

It was a nice routine and a really emotional moment, but she stepped on the dismount and had some form issues. More like a 9.825-9.85 routine, but it was solid.

My biggest takeaway so far that meet is they are not ranking gymnasts/routines properly. Its bogus

Okay, that 10 for Clapper was a joke after giving Baumann 9.95. I wouldn't have given Baumann a 10 either, but she was definitely superior to Clapper...
