He better get in the weight room. His bench is only 225. Squat not bad, but my sister can out bench him.

I've wondered about what position he was offered at myself(though I doubt it's commitable). At 1st I thought LB but from scouring for info it appears like as a smaller, fast of the edge pass rusher. I tend to believe that both of these kids are just "interest offer" type guys that we offered as a courtesy and to keep interest so we can further evaluate them during the spring and possibly camp if they make the trip. Coach Raymond gives these type of offers quite frequently.

He may have to contend with Melvin Jones, who could be outstanding at either FB or LB.

He may have to contend with Melvin Jones, who could be outstanding at either FB or LB, and he would have been in the program a year longer by that time.

I also believe Melvin Jones would be a beast at FB with his size and speed. That size and speed would also make him a beast MLB

I agree, put some weight on him and he will fit right in!

Shaw looks to have good speed and can get to the sideline in a hurry. I can see him at LB but would ideal as a 3-4 OLB.
