Not to mention he really cares about the child, so distance away from it would be a factor for him, which I highly respect from a kid of his stature
His child is no factor considering Bama made it possible for TR and his two little girls to live in Tusc without a problem. So don't think it's out of the realm of possibility Bama wouldn't do it for TW as well if they want him bad enough.

They could, but don't say his child isn't a factor for him.

That was my other response.
What is his family is more important than Alabama. What if it's important for him to be around his child and for his child to be around his family?
I hate absolutes.

the numbers are 25 per year, 85 for 3 years?
25 max initial counters each year. 85 max total scholarship players on the roster at any time. It's a little more complicated than this, but that's a little more advanced.

25 per year and 85 on the team at once at any one time

As do I.
He didn't mean it the way it came out though. It would have been better for him to say that Alabama would help find his family a place in Tusaloosa so he could be close to his child.

Here's to you Mr. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you will know. Ho! Ho! Ho!
God bless you please Mr. Robinson. Heaven holds a place for those who play! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Good that he's back on campus. Will be watching out for his commitment.
Doesn't affect Willis from our end. He's a take regardless. The numbers will work. It's already being hinted that one, maybe more, currently committed will not sign with LSU. Not by Gino either, for those that bag on him. This is coming straight from the real deal insiders. No names but not so subtle hints.

Who is suggesting it would not be possible for his child to live in TTown? That doesn't make much sense. Of course they would accomidate a child at Alabama. I beleive the reason people think he will sign with LSU because he has a kid is distance.
Trent Richardson is from Pensacola. Its approximately 240 miles from Pensacola to Tuscaloosa, 260 to Baton Rouge, 195 to Tallahassee and 340 to Gainsville. Not a whole lot of difference. He's going to be 3-5 hours away no matter where he goes. There is not a major D1 team in his hometown.
For Tim Williams OTOH, he is approximately 340 miles from Tuscaloosa vs what, .5 miles from LSU? I don't know the status of the kids mother and certainly her and the kid could move with him, but not all the Grandparents, teen parents tend to rely on the extended family a lot more. I was assuming those saying he will stay because of the kid are at least assuming, the kid will be staying in BR. Given he has the option to play at a major program, and stay close to the kid, that could be a factor. TR did not have the same option.

The numbers will work out, they always do. Not sure why everyone is so worried about it. Also not really sure the star gazers affinity for Willis.

Willis looks like a beast
Have you seen his legs?
Pretty well developed kid for a senior in HS

How long is the visit? Just curious when a commitment would be expected to come

Yeah I think he's a good player just think people are overstating it a bit.

I'm not really sure that stargazers on the only ones who like Willis. I haven't really seen anybody say that he is way better or better at all than Robinson. Just that he is to good to pass up. I'm not a stargazer (though I hope we continue to have top 10 or at least top 15 recruiting classes) but I think Willis plays physical, has great size-speed ratio, great ball skills, and great versatility in the defensive backfield. I think he can play corner, either safety spot, nickel, or dime. I definitely want Robinson, but I would really like to get Willis as well.

I think Robinson is more versatile to play either corner or safety. I think Willis is a safety. If we could snag both I would take both. Regardless, we'll be fine and the numbers will work.

You never turn down players like Priest and Robinson.
