I just watched a video on him and it looks like he is in love with Alabama. He is looking for a place that will be a second home to him. He earlier said that Alabama is like a second home. Saban already talked to him about being a future captain for their team. He does not feel any pressure about leaving the state.

p.s. Don't kill the messenger, just an observation

If you don't want this to happen, then post about something else.

Rivals 100 defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence says he feels at home at Alabama. He camped there last week, and said the coaching staff showed him a lot of love. He loves the Louisiana connection with Cam Sims, Cam Robinson, Hootie and Denzel Devall. He said he plans to visit again this summer and again during the season.

He is definitely interested in Bama, probably much more than we would like to believe, but I wouldn't be too overly concerned about it yet. There is still a long way to go, and all signs indicate that he is going to wait until at least December before committing somewhere.

I am definitely worried about him with Bama. However, we have Coach O recruiting him so if he does choose Bama I am confident that it won't be because we dropped the ball.
If I remember correctly, he was the first visit Coach O made the day (or day after) he was hired.

I like our odds now much more than if Brick and Chavis were in charge of his recruitment, that's for sure.

Lesson one of TD for dummies, you can reply to each poster by simply clicking the reply button to the exact post you want to address, not just the last post of the thread.

Lesson two, don't make posts about Bama on this board, its the LSU Recruiting Board.

bama is appealing to any defensive player.
but my gut tells me Lawrence feels too much at home at lsu, and his relationship with coach O is too strong for Bama to overcome.

O is doing a great job in the Monroe area, Peveto as well. If Lawrence chooses Bama, its not due to lack of effort.

Makes you wonder if the high profile recruits from the N.LA area the past few years wouldn't have left if the lazy assholes in charge of that area did their jobs or were going to leave no matter what.

Glad we have competent recruiters in that area finally.

I remember O saying that Lawrence was a "must get".
I'm sure that there is valid ineterst in bama, but I'm pretty confident it's not enough to overcome the desire to play in TS (in your FIRST home), under an electric position coach who you have a strong relationship with.
I like our chances.

And O told him he'd make him the baddest motherfricker to ever walk Death Valley.
