Hey, LE, just saw this for the first time. Appreciate the effort.

Saw your comment on Sheppard and I have a question... who TF would lose ground in the open field?

(editors note: I just sent ahead and spelt lose correctly)

Players that do not have good speed & acceleration

Logan Diggs would be a good example last year. He was a solid back, but lacked long speed.

-He had 18 runs over 10yds
-only 7 of those went over 15yds
-his longest run was 35yds

I believe Berry finished with 160 rushing and 109 receiving. Also had a pass break up playing defense to win the game at the end. Pearl River had some cheap shots and multiple face masks and horse collars on him. Berry didn’t back down at all and even had an offsetting personal foul for shoving a Pearl River lineman after one too many cheap shots.

Same. Watched the 1st half and he seemed so disinterested until they started losing.

Speed is such a great equalizer at this level but even more so playing these tiny schools. I don’t think it is preparing him well to get hit by SEC players. It really showed on defense too, he doesn’t want to hit anyone, even though he is bigger & stronger than most of these kids.Watching him live confirms he’d be better off playing WR.

Sheppard is an SEC level talent, Duke is getting a good one.

He doesn't even look like he's working hard. Natural talent and great vision

Are we expecting him to stick with Duke?

Dude needs an offer. I like him better than Simon. Good find on your part.

I think he will. He’s an excellent student, so he should stick with Duke, frankly.

Did you watch Mandeville vs. Madison Prep?

I read the game story from The Advocate and talked about it in this week's recap article.

Up 31-0 and it ended up being 52-43 or somewhere in that vicinity.

Sheppard ran for four TDs in the first half I believe

Hopefully hurricane season will cooperate, and we will get to see Ford run vs. Zachary & Alexandria.

He is the only one that has updated any info about him on this board consistently. We know about him because of his older brother, but please explain to me how the recruiting board works.
