Thanks LE - as always excellent info. Thoughts on DLINE / LB starters?

Just spitballing, but with the idea that you build your front around Umanmielen, who is a stand up end:

RDE Blocton / Achilles Woods / Lamar Brown
DT Green/ McKinnley / Washington / B.Brown / Anderson / Geralds
LDE Reliford / Jaylen Brown / Carpenter / Shanklin
Jack: Umananielen / Jordan Ross / Cobbins

several of these guys can interchange positions based on alignment

LBs would be Weeks and Dottery

You have a star position that is more of a box safety with some LB responsibility. (Spears / Benefied / Jimcoily / Singleton??)

Watched Tre Brown highlights again. Great size and breaks tackles, nice hands, elite speed that won’t be caught from behind. Top 10 in nation in yards per catch as is Jackson Harris. Huge get by Lane. Pretty awesome to see how he put this group together. Loads of potential.

Tre Wilson looks to have similar drop numbers to Jayce Brown based off the pff numbers you posted a week ago. Will be interesting to see the battle between him and Winston. Similar size and speed. Would like to see Winston’s pff numbers when you get a chance.

You have Bah too low.

You might be right. I almost put him above Satterwhite for example. But you can understand my skepticism about OL. How many supposed studs in the OL have turned out to be "more Jane and less Tarzan". Hopefully, it was just the coaching.

Dilin Jones being "a beast" in your 2nd reply to me is a lot more problematic. In 2024, you take away one 47 yard run and he averaged 2.5 ypc. In 2025, he averaged 3.9 ypc. IMO, he has a lot to prove before he earns the title of "beast." Plus, according to his ESPN profile, he weighs 205.

Tre Brown is being slept on a bit, but hey that is just my opinion. Some of his numbers have been held back by QB play.

In 2024 at Hutchinson JUCO, his QB's combined to be a 54% passer. He had 30/566/10tds. They also had a 1,600yr RB that the offense revolved around.

at Old Dominion in 2025, the offense revolved around QB Colton Joseph. The catalyst of this offense was his running, he ran for 1,000yds and 13tds. His passing was hot and cold. He was a 54% passer in conference games, and 59% overall. He had just two 300yd games, and several in the 100's.

Dottery must be weak in pass coverage.

He wasn't great in coverage but also played 100 more coverage snaps than any other SEC LB.

He also had the 4th most missed tackles amongst SEC LBs.

I'll have to go back and look, i may have fat fingered something.

He rarely drops the ball but that is because he is never targeted downfield. Most catches are glorified handoffs, which is why his YAC/REC is also higher than everyone else.

Good to see that number was wrong. The previous PFF post Tre Wilson had 10% drops, Elzy 20%.

Wilson has great speed and will be a fun one to watch.

Yeah, the 10% was last year. He had 3 drops, but none his first two seasons

Yeah…I find Jayce Brown way too low on this list. No one knows. We’ll see.

If you can be critical surely you’re not scared to list the WRs for me?

I can be critical…and I am not scared at all—what kind of foolishness is this? That’s hilarious!

Jayce Brown, Tre Wilson, Winnie Watkins—I’d put top 3. I like the kid from Hawaii and Old Dominion after that.

IMO to have Jayce ranked where he was in that ranking is evaluated wrongly. But no one knows. I don’t. You surely don’t.

We’ll see. Just like I said!

I downvoted immediately when I saw you put Jayce Brown in the 20s. This was before anybody else commented at all. He's top 2 WR, and top 10 best player LSU got without question.

Yeah, I get it. I moved him up.

Still think you need balance and there is some overlap in his skillset with some other guys.
