Why would you say no one could blame him for not putting in a good word for the staff and program? What did the coaches do to him that was unfair? I realize a segment of the fanbase was very harsh, but it seems like the staff and especially Miles went above and beyond for him. So yes, I would blame him if he did have bad words about the staff.

Keep 'em coming, Les and Co.

I"ll file in right here to EAT CROW.
I really didnt think Ricky Jefferson was coming to LSU. I just thought the whole J.LEE vs. J.Jefferson was too much.
I am glad to have been wrong.
Welcome Ricky Jefferson, looking forward to seeing you in the P&G.

I'm glad we have RJ on board but this post is crazy......Miles and LSU did everything for JJ and he had all the opportunity in the world. Not to mention had a 13-0 season and played in a NC Game.
What "good word" would he have to put in? If anything, LSU stuck by JJ
Welcome aboard RJ and wishing you great success!!

In other words you don't know what you are talking about. Just spreading unsubstantiated rumor.
Chill. There was nothing rumor worthy spread. Impressions on how hard LSU is pushing for a recruit are talked about all the time. No need to start a random pissing match over it.

Has nothing to do with how Les or the staff treated him, more a portion of the fanbase. The couldn't blame him part comes from the fanbase part. The staff and school are only a part of the experience not the complete experience. He didn't have to say anything good or bad about the program. That's the point. It's no far stretch to think he could've allowed the bad to outweigh the effort and support the staff and Les showed him. It happens all the time. he could've said "the staff is great and it's a great school but the fans will turn on you and make the whole experience bad" or he could've said nothing. He deserves credit for giving a good review. The fanbase is a part of the program. Without us there would be no program.

Well, I respectfully disagree. There is little to no fanbase for most college sports, yet a program exists. How much of a fanbase is there for golf, tennis, swimming at LSU? That said, because FB has such a large following, I think it leads fans to over state our impact. no doubt there was a lot of negative comments on boards like this and talk shows regarding Jordan Jefferson as well as some booing at the games. As far as a players expirience, if he is that affected by that handful of knuckleheads, how did he handle road games and that type of vitriol? While there was some over the top harsh comments and Ad hominem attacks are uncalled for. His play and involvment in the Shady's incedent did call for legit criticism. No need for that to completly sour his expirience. And really, do you think it would different at any other major program?

Troof. Idk why everyone acts like JJ should have the butthurt about the coaching staff. He was treated much better than his performance indicated he should have been. That family having an issue with fans is one thing, to suggest that they would have an issue with the coaches is laughable.
Hopefully the ACL repair was sound and doesn't affect him playing DB. I guess it is about the same amount of cutting as a RB, and we've seen those guys come back from that surgery and do well into NFL play. Does he project as a CB, or will size cause him to move to safety?

You mean the part where JJ was started every time he was in uniform?
Please stop people, JJ was treated better by LSU's staff than he would have at any other program in America....his family should have no issues with LSU...and now we can see that they do not have issues with Miles.
Welcome RJ
