Was at the Lakeshore vs Fontainebleau game tonight and saw the Fontainebleau punter nailing every kick. Kid has a cannon for a leg. Was wondering if anyone had information on the kid. Wondering if LSU is taking a look at him. They need to if they aren’t.

If he is the kicker too he’s supposedly York 2.0

Will Rocha. Top HS kicker in the country

Would assume Polian is well aware of him as the recruiting coordinator an special teams coach.

The kid has huge hang time on every punt, very impressed.

As a ‘23? No fricking way. There are some straight stud ‘23s. Not even the top kicker in the state. Peyton from Lafayette absolutely crushes it.

ETA: watched a charting video and Will looks very good…be interesting to see what offers he gets without doing one of the traditional ranking camp circuits.

His stats as a PK aren’t indicative of a #1 kicker. He may be a good punter though. Havent seen his punting stats

Yea, look up Peyton Woodring from Lafayette, he’s the undisputed #1 2023. He was the first ‘23 offered by Bama and he turned that down for Georgia.

I’ve seen him kick at camps many times and he’s top of his class no doubt. I haven’t seen his HS stats, but literally no way they are bad. Young man can kick a football.

Woodring …

2021: Averaged 7.5 points per game and totaled 82 points as a junior. Connected on 13 of 17 field-goal attempts with a long of 56 and made 43 of 44 PATs.

Everyone was told this about Peyton Todd… I don’t understand how sometimes it just doesn’t translate to college…

While it’s kind of douchey to list your GPA and ACT on your Twitter, if they really are 4.56 and 32 that’s pretty impressive.

Kickers only get to choose from the schools that offer them…is Georgia yuck compared to Bama?

That position isn’t like most, teams only need kickers when they do.

The Ivy league needs kickers too.

Ascension Episcopal has a tremendous punter...I heard he's rated top 3 in country. Not sure how accurate that is.

Assuming it’s the same guy, he is the number 2 kicker as well and committed to Georgia, so I’m sure he is outstanding.

Not the same guy. Badger is the punter…and a ‘23 as well. Top 5 punter. Won charting in Gatlinburg this summer.

Same private school in Lafayette…#1 kicker, #5 punter in the nation. Nuts.

Got it. That’s crazy from a school that isn’t exactly IMG or Bishop Gorman.

Btw, is your son at the point where he will be going to camps next summer for a college scholarship?

I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen after this season. He’s supposed to have three SEC visits this fall, so hopefully he can build relationships with those staffs.

He earned the only five star with Kohl’s this summer so we’re just taking a deep breath and enjoying Friday nights. We’ll drive him wherever he’s invited to go. I expect he won’t kick for college coaches until the spring.

If his intention is to get a top tier scholly, then by all means promoting himself that way is a smart move.
