you would say that about Oliver or any other La QB if they were a bulldog verbal.Posted on 10/7/10 at 1:00 pm to ipodking
I have seen video on Dak, Stevie Douglas, and Oliver.
DAK>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Douglas and Oliver.
He is a dual threat QB that fits perfect into Mullen's spread offense. You guys think that he sucks b/c LSU hasnt offered him.
I have also seen video of Stephen Rivers who MSU also offered and I am glad we got Dak instead of Rivers. He is VERY SLOW, and has been putting up very poor numbers this year (threw 4 picks last Friday)

LSU hasn't offered him because we got bigger fish to fry than him. Also, I would MUCH rather Rivers than Prescott as a QB.
Obviously you know nothing about recruiting if all you do is look at stats. He's VERY SLOW? Seriously? He has great speed for a kid his size, so nice try again.
If we really wanted Prescott, we could take him away from MSU in a second. Isn't there a MSU board that yall can all drool over Prescott on? At least be a knowledgeable person if you are going to come on an LSU board and talk

But I am concerned with what Mullen will do with Prescott

He's a Dallas Cowboys fan...we're not missing out on anything.

I HIGHLY doubt that, and FWIW I wasnt the one who started this thread. Im just posting my opinion. I have not bashed LSU or any of their coaches. The only think I said was that Rivers was slow and was not as good as Rivers. Thats just my opinion.
I have been told Rivers is closer to 6'8" than 6'6" and looks more like a basketball player than a QB.

If you go by stats then I guess you are right, but ponmansy went to see him play the other night and he was one of his biggest doubters before. Ponmansky's exact words were... he is an SEC QB

I'd be concerned about CJ johnson

quote:Nobody thinks he sucks. I'm sure he could beat me at any QB skills challenge. He was evaluated by LSU at a position of need and LSU chose to look elsewhere. No harm done.

Keep on Smoking Crack, he is the most SOLID Mississippi Commit we have. He is constantly recruiting for us. He is always calling and facebooking Tobias Singleton.

Looks at Rivers' rushing stats for this season. They arent very good. If I was a LSU fan id be hoping and praying that Mettenburger ends up coming to Baton Rouge.

Prescott is the best high school QB in LA for the next level. I've seen Oliver and Douglas, Prescott is better.
LSU did get the best high school QB in LA though...he's just going to play WR/CB for LSU.

Good lord, that's not creepy or anything. I bet you post on all of his statuses too and think you are in the in crowd or something.
News Flash, MSU is not that good. You really don't think he's watching Sheppard dominate and control that defense every weekend and think, "Man, that could possibly be me next year, leading one of the top defenses in college football" Just because he is recruiting someone to come there doesn't mean anything. With Travis Hughes taking us off his list, C.J. is our last option at MLB and you better believe MSU is going to try and hold on him as long as they can

Word on the street is that CJ is Graduating at Christmas and will sign and enroll at State in January. Just curious what were his comments after his "Visit" for the MSU/LSU game??? He only went because LSU was playing Mississippi State. I know its hard for some of you LSU fans to believe that an out of state kid would choose his in state school over LSU but YES it IS possible.
That is all

Hey brother who are the "bigger fish" and again what do you base your recruiting on? and have you seen Prescott or Rivers play in person, or anyone.
For the record, LSU made a call to Haughton after his verbal to MSU and found that Prescott was strong to MSU.
You really have no idea of what you don't know.

Dak fits way better at MSU than LSU. Thats why he's at MSU and why LSU didn't offer.

Best point on this thread yet. I agree 100% with you. Dak in all reality ISNT a good fit for Croton's offense, but he MAY be a good fit in your next OC's offense next fall.
