I was thinking the exact same thing. The guy has no sources on the staff, so he has no clue what they're thinking.
But speculating on which currently committed guys are expendable is a recipe for disaster and accomplishes nothing.

Gino is the man....just cause recruits lie and change their mind doesn't mean he was accurate. At some point we all thought was had a chance at those 3 recruits. He right half of the time and he always give us heads up on when a recruit will commit even tho he never tells us who it is.

IMO, we finish with Gilmore, Jefferson, Robinson, Williams, Willis, Berkley Edwards and RSJ/another dt/Goodman. That would be the number one class in the country and I don't give a damn what the final rankings say.

Nothing in this thread is even similarly close to the shite that was said about Baker in that thread. All we have done is speculate about who would/could be the best bet if the info were true. It's no different than saying one recruit is better than another and that is done everyday on this board. To be honest, it's the point of this board. If this board was all sunshine pumping and praise for our commits and prospects, the board would suck. It's an opinion board and we've expressed our opinions just like you have. Because you don't agree with it doesn't make our opinions and thoughts any less valid than yours. No one has bashed Stokes or any other kid in this thread.
I'm no Gino supporter or detractor but go read his info and you'll see that it doesn't differ from the trusted guys that much. Who's to say he's wrong? I don't believe everything he puts out but I never expected to. I give credit where it's due and he and Jimmy D have been pretty damn good this year. Jimmy D broke the Swanson commitment. Evidently someone has some sources. Not saying that they are the "go to " guys for LSU recruiting but they do their best and should be given some credit for that. They do more for LSU fans than I do and I appreciate it whether the info is always correct or not.
