We always lose players early to the NFL,we are NFLU, but I really think we could lose a lot of guys after this season and have nearly a compete team of new starters in 2021.

QB- Myles Brennan could have a monster year and go pro. With our new offense, I do not think it is crazy to think he wont.

RB- returning.

FB- Tory Carter is a senior. He is a great fb and excellent special teams playmaker. That hit vs UGA still makes me jump out of my seat.

WR- Racey Mcmath and Jontre Kirklin are seniors. I see both Terrace Marshall and Ja'marr Chase leaving early. All 4 of those guys will play major roles in this seasons success.

TE- Jamal Pettigrew is a senior. Very good blocker and can play several roles for our offense.

Oline- Austin Deculus is a senior and a leader on the line.Liam Shanahan (transfer) senior expected to play a big role in the interior line. Ed Ingram and Chasen Hines will be leaving for the NFL.

Dline- Glen Logan and Neil Farrell are seniors while Tyler Shelvin has proven to take on double teams and could very well join them in the NFL.

LB- Ray Thornton, Travez Moore and Andre Anthony are seniors. Jabril Cox (transfer) is expected to be a starter. Micah Baskerville is a proven lb and I see him leaving early.

DB- Jacoby Stevens, Eric Monroe, Kary Vincent and Cameron Lewis are all seniors. Todd Harris could definitely leave early.

P- Zach Rosenberg will finish up his 8 years at LSU lol

With the 24 players that I listed possibly all leaving, I think it sets us up for a major advantage in recruiting for the class of 2022 (which we are all already excited about). Of course underclassmen will step up throughout the season but for the most part, we could see a new team of Tigers in 2021 at nearly every position. GEAUX TIGER! FOREVER LSU!

Step off the ledge. Brennan hasn’t started a game but you see him leaving. Chases Hines didn’t play much last year but he’s gone? Baskerville has been decent but he hasn’t shown he is an nfl linebacker. Todd Harris is good but not only needs to have an outstanding year but he also has to show the injury isn’t affecting him.

He’s a prototypical NFL QB

Tall with a strong arm

You never know... if he throws for 3500 yards 30 TDs 10 INT on 65% comp he is likely gone

He has never started a college game. I hope he’s better than Joe but can he start before he’s gone?

In his defense, don’t think he meant that literally, just trying to display how after sending 20 players to the pros this year, we could possibly send another large crop to the the NFLSU again this upcoming year...

I don’t think all of those guys go...but I do see the potential for us to promote early playing time to top notch recruits at arguably the new upcoming/vogue team to be a part of for the next decade at least

This guys is far from proven...he mainly plays Special Teams...This year he will be sharing time. He comes back for sure for 21 season..Him and D Clark will be lone starters in 2021

Brennan is not leaving after 1 year as starter
Not with the top Qb's coming out this year
He will have a Burrow type season like Burrow did his jr year and hopefully will put it all together for his sr year

You forgot Curry is a draft eligible soph, if he goes for 1000 yards I could see him leaving

WR is why they will sign likely 4 receivers in next class

I don't see Hines leaving but Ingram most likely will

Shelvin will likely leave but he still could stand to get in that 330 range

Baskerville is not going anywhere

I could see Todd Harris leaving just to avoid another major injury

That's such a tired argument. You still live in the 20th century where football players are gladiators. I like clean hits. I don't like when a player tries to take another's head off. In movies, sure. The gladiator is one of the greatest of all time. Real life - no thanks.

Agreed. I don't think OP realizes how much production we lost at LB. All our starters have been drafted. The next highest returning tackler at LB had like 40 tackles all season.

We got a new crop and I'm hoping DC does something to bring Steven's around the box as a hybrid OLB/S.
