re: Pooka--Only offense he would not be dynamic in is a Les Miles offense.

Trindon was a game-changer. If you can force a team to key in one player then he’s affecting the game. Trindon did that on special teams and offense. Pooka will do the same wherever he goes

I think when Trindon graduated he had the highest ever yards per carry average at LSU albeit on much fewer carries and yards than most running backs. I believe he also had more carries as a freshman than his So., Jr. and Sr. years. I think Miles should have used him more as wing back on sweeps, screens, etc. and as a decoy (insert obligatory DE snark here)

Russell Shepard may have surpassed him on all time ypc on even fewer carries.

Talked to some cops over the weekend. They said he will be lucky if he makes to a D1 school and if he does he will probably be in trouble constantly.

It’s a shame skid with his kind of talent can’t see he could be a millionaire with just a few years of patience.

Things are turning around. Spirited playoff run and local support is making a difference. Not sure if it’s enough, but I wouldn’t count out LSU or Miami right now.

Was at the Dome for his final game. The young man was playing on an obvious injured wheel. ZHS keying on him was an understatement....he was hit the entire game. Kept getting up for the next play. He is one tough cookie.
This kid has the upper frame to add a solid 15-20 lbs.

He’s light, for sure, but he’s still got some growing to do.

Most of our RB’s have been under 6’. Mark Ingram, for instance, is only 5’9”, and he seems to do pretty well at the highest level. (before anyone melts down, I’m just comparing heights, not ability)

....and he still ended up with over 200 yards rushing.

not sure where you get your info from, but you're wrong on this one. Does he have to pick up grades? yes. Is he a bad kid? No

Try again.

Pooka will end up being 5’9 185 within a year or 2. A D-1 strength and conditioning program will do him a lot of good along with better nutrition. If he can get his grades right pooka will be a super star in whatever conference he winds up in. Very similar to Tavon Austin.

kids missing 3 toes on one of his feet too. How he does what he does on the field is unbelievable. Would love seeing this kid in the slot and returning punts and kicks.

Agreed he would be deadly in Canada’s offense. Look at Q. Henderson in Canada’s Pitt offense. Just imagine Pooka in that role.
