Reading between the lines,I'm assuming Ponamsky talked to an LSU coach who told him that LSU had "moved on". Sometimes coaches do that when they want THEIR NARRATIVE OUT THEIR FOR CONSUMPTION.

If ya'll didn't notice Baton Rouge media are always attacking Hootie. First it was the print media in BR now its some clown on the radio in BR. What is wrong with those people? They need to stop with this negative talk for all we know we might not get Adams the way the Gators are talking on their site. The way the BR media is talking they are trying to destroy our chances with Hootie. The Ole Miss fans think they will get him so they are real giddy over on their site and the BR Media is doing LSU no favors with the BS.

He is a "big kid" who loves football and is trying to find his way through the process. LSU won't publicly show Hootie the love with Adams on the hook. Don't fool yourselves for a second that LSU doesn't want both of these guys. Hootie is just too unpredictable at this point and LSU is playing the percentages with Adams.

Basically. LSU is defining its own narrative. And probably making sure that Hootie Jones is serious about not going to Alabama on top of that.

I'm not all that big on hootie, seems like another safety with an identity crisis(LB or S), we've had one too many of those lately
