Exactly should have taken Rodney Anderson out of Katy a couple years ago!!!

Would you recruit Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. Duh!
Those guys were recruited by everyone in the Nation. I believe both were 5 star recruits.
Spivey not even recruited by two instate schools. So come up with a better argument than this. Im just saying if we end up with spivey instead of some bigger fish than LSU has missed again on top tier running backs.

Some points to consider; we'll have to see how it ends up so I'm not saying these are facts. I'm saying this could end up being the case:
- we often withold offers of 2nd and 3rd tier guys in-state when we have bigger fish (as to never have to pull an in-state offer).
- I get the feeling he is a late bloomer somewhat, and he's not a camper- which adds up to being below radar/underrated. Let's see what he does Sr year.
Yes, agreed, it would be a miss. Yes, that would mean LSU missed on a top tier RB somewhere. Davis is top tier, we will continue to recruit Emery, and if Sanders makes this visit considering we have some inroads at IMG then he is most definitely in play.
So we have 1 solid commit of a top tier. Let's not let missing on another cause that to get lost in the muddied waters.

IDK, I like Cain over this Sanders kid, and yeah I know he's considered the #1 RB. Cain is a complete RB to me. Running with power and decent speed. Can pass block and catch out the backfield well. Reminds me of Joe Mixon when he was at Oklahoma

Joe mixon was physical too. Especially with the ladies

Crazy that with the stretch of Hill - Fournette - Guice we are struggling to get a top tier running back recruit. Especially Emery and Cain who are both from Louisiana.

No way jose.
I won't bitch about getting either, but Sanders is a much better playmaker out of the backfield and Cain has limited speed.
Cain would be a solid blocker and grinder, but we need a guy that will take over. Tyrion can be the hammer, we need some electric playmaking to go next to him.

I’ve seen Cain play, and he does have some sneaky speed. He can run for sure. It would make more sense to have Emery though, because as you said he’s more of a Saquon Barkley explosion back who can take it 90 yards to the house. If we landed Cain though I wouldn’t be complaining at all.

What’s even more amazing than that is the fact that we’ve got a solid in-state RB commit who’s ranked the #7 RB in the nation, yet you mouthbreathing star-chasers act like we ain’t got shite so far.
Tyrion is the future. If we get a second RB that is at or near his level, that would be a damn fricking strong RB haul. And based on the gossip on the board, it sounds promising that we’ll be able to fill at least a second RB into the class from the group of Sanders, Cain, Emery, or maybe even Spivey or Glass. If you were to tell me that any one of those guys committed and was guaranteed to arrive on campus in August 2019, I would declare it a massive success and go ahead and design/print/order an LSU RBU t-shirt (preferably sleeveless).

I'm excited about Davis. I'm not always great about the "reminds me of" exercise, but if I had to guess I would say he looks and plays similar to Jeremy Hill which would be amazing if we could get that type of productivity.

They as in us?

I have a feeling a big shift could take place.

The shifting of a big bag of cash across the table?

A shift due to the ways the pieces are falling. With Emery committed to UGA, Sanders is probably looking at LSU's depth chart and single RB commit and seeing an opportunity.

Hopefully. It’s time for Robinson to earn his keep.
