Paul Turner is a stud. An incredible athlete who can make a big play every time he touches the ball. Unfortunately, because of the depth of next year's class in LA, he could fall through the cracks. There will always be someone who is a little bit faster...a little stronger...a little bigger...a little better on defense...a little better at WR...and so on. He could be 2011's Gavin Webster.

I'm convinced he is a playmaker. I would not mind if LSU got him.

didn't shows make reference to the fact he will play safety in college and that he will get more playing time there?

Paul or not,

This dude is good! I've witnessed his abilities first hand for the Catholic game!

He has an UNBELIEVABLE ability to make people miss, great speed, and always seems to keep his balance!

He is a tremendous athlete and I would love for him to part of the 2011 class!
I could see him playing corner or some type of gimmick back.. Would love to see what he could do with punts/kickoffs!

Reminds me of another #10 we have. I think he would be a good fit here. Good skills, Although what would be wrong with having him as QB? Lee may go pro in baseball still? JJ who will be a Jr, Shep if he is still being looked into as a QB will be a So. Garrett will be a RS Fresh.

Only knock I see as QB is height but he could grow some still and he is already close to 6 ft.

He was the MAN on that final, game-ending, game-winning drive against St. Augustine in the playoffs. He ran again and again. Everyone knew he was going to run just about every single play and yet he could not be stopped. And it was not all due to the WM OL; he made people miss.

I saw him play three times this year (all against good LA 5A playoff teams) and each time he was a playmaking machine.

I really don't seem him playing QB at all in college...

If he wants to go to an SEC school he will have to accept this.

I think he is only playing QB out of default, right? He is just there best athlete so they put him at that position.

He is a stud and seemed so "slippery" playing catholic. It was like no matter what tacklers tried he would squirm out at least a tackle or two per play.

Does anyone have any film or him playing defense?

I question his size and arm strength in being a good SEC QB. I can see him in a scatback role. He looks a little like Jakhari Gore. He is a great athlete with great football instincts. I wonder if he has the hips and footwork to be a CB. He might also be good in a nickel role.

Exactly right. They want to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. Moreover, he is a smart player.

I have yet to see him play defense but I think he has the athleticism to do so.

Very good player that I would love to have in next years class. Problem is where does he fit in.

He made people look dumb and slow in the dome. I'm always a fan of athletic QB's playing other positions in college. Natural leaders!!!

Shows said he was going to play him some at safety next year and thought he had a better chance to be a SEC safety than QB.

That's what he was doing when he was running past everyone.
