? Bama cheats and always has. This has nothing to do with LSU. They have offered him one thing and believe he and his family will take it. Thats all this is about. Wake up.

I seem to remember the same melt when Jimbo and Craig came calling for Marshall and A&M had "locked up" Marshall according to all the Aggie experts and boards.

That's because people believe everything they hear. I think he enjoyed his visit to bama, but I would be totally shocked if he doesn't sign here.

On the bright side if he does go to Bama at least it will accelerate O's exit from this program.

that's not a bright side son. why not pull for LSU? those of you wanting LSU to fail cannot be LSU fans. regardless if you like the coach or not, LSU fans should pull for LSU. if you don't, I think you are tiger bait.

Do you understand what "on the Brightside" actually means?

Yeah he is a definite take

This isn't DBU level depth or talent if you ask me. Makes cooling on Anthony Cook seem kind of questionable doesn't it?

I think either they didn't actually cool on him, or that they did because they knew they didn't have a chance with him.

Also kinda hard to claim DBU now that Ohio State is not only pumping em out at a faster clip, but they are excelling in the NFL as well.

It's an arms race, and we can't fall behind at the one thing we've done so good for years now.

Deuce, there is a special place in hell for people like you who root for the Tigers to fail-‘any team, any player, any coach. You are a loser.

He would be the only corner or one of two for LSU class right now.

Bama already has some CB's signed including Savion Smith.

Both schools have a need for CB for early playing time.

If Surtain was all Bama no reason for him not to commit this past weekend.

I really hope you don't believe that Bama is the only program that cheats and LSU is totally innocent of it.

This isn’t the rant people, read posts before starting your own. This is now the 3rd thread regarding this subject. He’s not going to bama

Maybe he wants to play for championship on his way to the pros. Can't blame him.

From what I've read the high placed Bama insiders don't feel the Bama staff feels they now "lead." It's still close however. Raymond and Aranda will go in home with Surtain tomorrow. Orgeron still has his in home as well.

Ohio State corners drafted since 2009

Marshon Lattimore
Malcolm Jenkins

Gareon Conley
Eli Apple
Doran Grant
Bradley Roby
Chimdi Chekwa

Excelling in the NFL is a stretch.

Exactly, 2 decent corners isn't "excelling". We have had much more success for a much longer time with DB's

Idiotic take... Surtain is not some poor kid with little opportunity looking to get out of the hood. His father was a successful NFL player and is now a successful coach.

The only thing Bama can immediately offer that LSU can’t is likely promise of CFB championship.

Because he's a shite coach that continues to drive it downward. Best to part ways sooner rather than later before it hits a point that takes me being an old man before it recovers. It's not something difficult to understand. I don't want them to lose but they are. What do you not understand? Their ceiling is mediocrity with O and it won't/can't get better while he's here. Teams around us are making strong efforts to get better while LSU goes ahead and hires a guy who had nothing more than average offenses because he's O's good ole buddy. If that doesn't scream complacency I don't know what else does.

I'd rather get Aranda in ASAP since he's HCIW. He's a total mystery and nothing proven but he'd be a better option than O. He had his opportunities and failed. He has broken promises he made when he became coach of a job he had no business being in. He continues to do so at LSU so the experiment needs to end now. You will be calling for his head after this season I promise. If you can't see it then you're blind.

Really though, Aranda just shows how broken this program truly is at this point. I love the man a lot but they're so desperate to live or die on coaches they give a guy who has no experience as HC HCIW. A program like LSU shouldn't have any problems replacing him with just as good a DC and then if they need a HC, go get someone proven. It makes plenty sense why O is the coach right now instead of a proven winner somewhere else. We'll win 5-6 games off Aranda's defense alone and it will save O's arse to continue the mediocrity.

You and other LSU fans don't want to hear it but you know it's the truth. LSU's admin is fine with 8 or 9 win ceilings at best because asses are still in the seats making money and Saban is still on our side. Deal with it.

Brown was very highly rated in high school.

What is most telling with Brown is how well Alabama developed him. From what we all saw, they didn't.

Does Surtain believe he's ready for the NFL? If he does, then great - go to Bama. If he believes he needs to develop, then go to LSU.

Take this nonsense to a TenthTiger thread on the Rant. The HCIW tag was totally fabricated by him.
