From what I saw, they need some intensity, fire, and discipline.

So true, especially the discipline part. They have the talent year in and year out. And the intensity is there, especially against WM at the start of the game. As soon as they go down by a score, they roll over.

Lot of that had to do with Carr...he couldn't handle pressure and panicked

Yeah, figured something like that. I've met Coach Carr several times. Great guy and a good coach, but he was so intimidated by Shows, it wasn't even funny.

It's definitely a mindset thing at OPHS, IMO the talent OPHS has had the past few years has been better than WM, but in their minds they can't get over the hump and beat the U of WM.

Back to WM throwing more, I was talking more of a philosophical change to throwing the ball more. I'm sure if they had an Athlete like Sims, they would call a few more Chunk-it-to-me-bruhs per game. UWM is gonna do the same old thing of having massive O-Lines & Front 7's to control that aspect of the game. Veer, Toss, & Counter.

Sims was at workouts yesterday at OPHS. Saw him with my own two eyes. Move on folks.

And while we are on the topic, Coach Fitzgerald and his team are settling in nicely. Coach Fitz is not a drill Sargent, he is a hard worker. And he brings that mentality to his team. Again, move on.

Good for him. Glad he's not doing something stupid. With Thomas gone, I'm sure he'll be an even larger part of the offense. They'd have really missed him.
