Why not? Early commits have a much higher chance of sticking even with NIL. He is from Louisiana, and we have pulled in several recruits in the top 100 in the NIL era.

There’s no reason to be negative about the commitment at this point. Some of y’all need to learn to enjoy good news when it comes.

He is having a great year on the basketball court.

Went to multiple Middle Schools in AP. Never went to school. Does not seem to be a motivated kid at all. Been a large kid all his life.

Now he is Athletic for his size. Anxious to see

That could've been a family issue. Sometimes kids can't help that.

Over Rated!

He's not wrong. Watched the kid every game for 2 seasons. He's a giant, yes. He should have dominated at the HS level, but he didn't. He has the tendency to be lazy and lacks motivation. Footwork is slow, and attitude can be a problem. However, there is still tremendous upside with growth and development in the right program. I've seen players like him go either way. But at that size and stature, taking a shot at him is a no brainer. You can't coach size; guys like him will always be a 4/5 star.

Reminds me of a Kardell Thomas type of player, opposite side of the line of course. Of course I hope the end product is different for Brysten and all of us Tiger fans.

Sounds like BS to me.

I'll wait and ask OC Dane Charpentier what he thinks

I recall some of the same things being said about Dom McKinley and he was very good as a freshman.

Here is another call for you to say why you think he is over-rated. Have you see him play?
