Why anyone would think a kid like MacIntyre would come to LSU other than through the portal is surprising. LSU is a different kind of school -white QB’s from high society suburban towns will never come to LSU absent a family connection. They’re going to end up in traditional college towns.

What the hell are you talking about

Myles Brennan, Walker Howard, Garret Nussmeir, and Max Johnson have all signed with LSU within the last 7 cycles.

Or you can just define them on a case-by-case basis, to make your false theory appear true.

I would even say Tuscaloosa is barely a traditional college town at this point. It's basically a smaller Baton Rouge.

Just curious, Bjorn, where are you from / where have you ever lived?

Not that it's any of your business, but I have lived and traveled all over the place. How is that relevant to this discussion?

No need to be hostile, was just curious if you've been in Louisiana your whole life. Well, my point is if you have relationships with folks from affluent areas around the country, at least in my experience, you realize pretty quickly LSU is not the type of school for them and there are common themes among schools they do typically go to.

From out of state, went to LSU. (I'm from a wealthy, white Texas suburb)

The problem with your theory is:

1. A large percentage of all recruits have a connection to a school

2. A large percentage of schools are in "college towns"

3. LSU, which is your example, has a large amount of out-of-state wealthy white suburban students.

This is a completely made-up theory that has no basis in fact.

Billy and Shea and Sonny for that matter do not get much correct when they have us winning our these blue chip recruits. Don’t count on this one.

Is there a way to easily see their accuracy for lsu blue chip recruits on any of the recruiting websites? Genuinely curious what their accuracy is for lsu blue chip recruits.

f he went to Bama, he’d probably be locked in as Saiyon’s backup until at least his third year.

Why would any 5 star QB have interest in that offense anyway?

He might own a mirror and a scale.

There's growing rumors in bama circles that Saban is done after this year. We'll see. If they have a bad year, I doubt his pride will allow him to go out like that.

Annual thing.

Although I do think he's done after his next title. He just bought his retirement property and he's going to spend a couple of years making it perfect and try to get a title next season then retire.

Just IMO.

If you have the data, I'd like to see. Just in my experience, those that come from those areas have some sort of familial connection to the school. They don't go on a whim in the same proportions as schools like UGA, Bama, Ole Miss.

This has been rumored for about a decade and it never happens. He loves the grind.

Doesn't really matter if he loves it or not, father time is undefeated. At a certain point, the stresses and rigors of running a major college football program takes a toll on a man in his mid 70's. Nick will be 72 in less than a month meaning that by the time GM is a sophomore, he'll be around that 75 range. At a certain point, biology takes it's toll.

Cap you the man, But we aren’t getting either one of these QB’s. It’s the same ole LSU in it til the very end & they don’t pick LSU.

Figured he would choose Bama.

This is why I said they need to get in on a 3rd guy.

It always seemed like it was Bryce or no one.
