I have my doubts about us being on Barion.
Great with the ball in his hands - better than Anderson and Thomas as a return man.
However, he is not a technical WR. Hands are very shaky, doesn't track the ball well over his shoulder, not physical at all, etc. Basically, 90% of his production in UK's offense was in the run game or on screens.
Yes, they have struggled at QB, however, others like Dane Key have done just fine with their QB play. Barion is a gadget player, not a true receiver.
Further, he has been said to be a cancer in the locker room. Take it FWIW

This is a bit unfair. Key has a much different skillset than brown. He is an intermediate possession wr which is more qb friendly. Brown is a deep threat take the top off that type of wr requires a higher level of qb play. He did not get anything close to that while at Kentucky outside of Will Levis his FR Year which was his most productive season. The kid is a true outside wr who is rlly good wr getting of the line and stacking the db. Yes his hands have to get more consistent but he clearly has a lot of ability. He never played in an offense that catered to his strengths

9% of his yards over the last two seasons came at, or behind, the line of scrimmage.
His average depth of target in 2024 was 13.1yds
His average depth of target in 2023 was 16.6 yards
71.1% of his career snaps at WR have been on the outside:

So, in other words, burreauxx should stick to bad baseball posts.

In years past, I’d totally agree, but with NIL, money has become the foremost driving force ( unfortunately ) for most players and that is what is going to ruin college football.

Florida fans says that cb is trash

Isn't that what we say about the majority of guys that transfer out of here too?

This means that they are 100% dedicated to speed guys. This will be the fastest offense in the country if we can get those two.

Would take Cam Coleman at WR

6’1, 190 CB with length that can play bump and run. Ran a verified sub 4.5 coming out of HS
A former HS WR that is still learning how to play corner.
Was a starter for UF before getting hurt.
Kid has a ton of upside

Brown is awesome on CFB 25
Hope we can land all of them!

quote:TAMU - the kid is from Texas. He burned his bridge with Texas University on the recruiting trail. TAMU has money, and Reed is more of a passer than you think.
Hard for me to understand how a WR can look at Reed with aTm and think, Wow what an opportunity to catch a bunch of balls. They will be a run first offense.
Ole Miss - it's transfer history. Lane has produced stat giant WRs in back to back years. The backup QB also looked damn good when he had to play in place of Dart. Plus they spend.
LSU - proven success at WR for decades. QB that will likely throw for 4k yards and 28 TDs is returning. That same team is also losing 2 starters and a 3rd WR to the draft.

Well then they are telling the truth if that’s the comparison you’re making
He started 2 games and was burnt toast in both.

Hudson is similar to Malik Nabers in terms of play style/ athleticism. Not sure what happened at Texas Tech but he is very talented
