10:43 a.m. CT — East: Ohio State signee Brandon Inniss has super impressive stop-start quickness, getting open in a hurry and making catches in a vacuum. LSU WR signee Jalen Brown is looking smooth, catching the football well, high-pointing the football easily, getting in and out of his breaks and downfield. He’s been fun to watch so far. UCLA QB signee Dante Moore has been the best quarterback so far early on at East practice on time accurate, moving well on early routes Justice Haynes has been the most impressive running back in my opinion catching the football. Twitchy and built like an SEC running back.

Not sure how often ESPN and Rivals update their rankings, but I'd love to see Pimpton earn his 4th star on those services after this week.

Amazing to me how they drop Jalen Brown from an easy 5* to the #80 recruit. Makes absolutely no sense to me. He is a 5* talent no question.

Jalen Brown will be a star at LSU. You can’t teach speed and this kid is as fast as they come.

The recruiting services are incentivized by clicks for ad revenue. Receiver is a dime-a-dozen position in modern football, which makes it easier for them to make large swings. So once they commit I'm guessing it's a combination of recency bias when they stop micro analyzing those committed already and they pivot to other players. Group thinks probably plays a role as well.

If I recall he was injured and missed a number of games. Fair or not...that may have been part of the reason for his drop.

Pimpton is huge and smooth
Such a big flip at the end.

Yep. Potential to be a monster at TE.

He and Taylor look primed to be a great tandem of pass-catching TEs.
We are probably a year away from someone becoming the Washington type who can catch, but can also be equivalent to a second tackle when needed.
