Now that the day had arrived. This is the Bama commit I referenced a while back that we would be looking to flip. And yes, Crawfish was completely right about him coming this weekend, but the staff didn't want his Official visit getting blocked.

Unless we lose what the hell is he going to say negative about us, we are the number 2 team in the land, we have the best offense in the nation we just won the west and play for sec champ next week, lots of our guys are up for awards... We are in a really good position right now

I would think White and Sampah are ILBs. Kennedy, Webb, Ojulari and Clowney are OLBs. Could be the reason for all the Clowney talk.

They wouldn’t threaten to pull his scholarship in this case, but they could push him hard not to take the visit or have other commits pressure him not to come. That kind of pressure can be hard to overcome.

I was actually thinking the same. Kennedy is listed as an ILB but I was always under the impression he was a WDE/rush linebacker/OLB type player. If you add him to Josh White and Antoine Sampah that’s 3 ILBs. If you add him to the list you mentioned of Clowney, Ojulari and Webb that’s 4 of the same skill set on the outside. I think we would love to have them all but I’m wondering if the rumored surprise/unpopular guy left out comes from this group.

Who would be be recruiting and how would he negatively recruit anyone at this point? What would he possibly say to another recruit to have them consider BAMA?

Happens all the time. If a commit wants to go on an OV, the coaches of his committed school would probably call and call and talk him out of going.
