We’re hundo percent Burrell in ‘26 or a summer portal kid if he doesn’t chart well enough next spring. There are occasionally some gems there… Michigan’s stud Zvada was a portal kid…and he’s money.

Don't be mad they don't want your son..

We aren’t good enough for my son. That kicking room is at the bottom of the SEC. My son has a redshirt freshman year on scholarship under one of the best SEC kickers and staffs. We abandoned the LSU dream by what it was…not by what my son was.

Schools don’t let or make kids stay. Have you ever been anywhere outside LA?? UGA is gorgeous some kids just want to leave the state and I frankly cheer them on.

Clearly LSU does not give a frick about special teams. (They’ve missed on the #1 kicker in the country 3 straight years and will again next year.)
Sour grapes ?

Why me? I went to LSU for 8 years, graduated in physics and with an MS in EE, got published… married a Chimes waitress who graduated with a French Lit BA…my son is the best 2025 kicker in the country by a long shot…frick. We (LSU) suck at special teams.
My son signed a 4 year 100% scholarship agreement with Florida. Sour what?
I know the contemporary kickers…I hope LSU gets a great one. We’re probably sticking with Burrell and I will 100% come here and eat crow if that fella turns out to be a good PK for LSU.

The truth is, most people are just unaware as to how kickers are properly developed and analyzed. Those involved in that process are well-aware of who has really performed and showed the skill and those who have not. Its NOT an insult to anyone its just the truth. Some schools cultivate special teams and consistently have top kickers, and some don't.
100% scholarship under that stuff with a redshirt year, definitely the right choice.

Offers for Cooper are rolling in now. Purdue and a full to Tulane! Congrats…that is awesome. Well deserved.

Both KOS. We haven’t had a top ranked PK since York. Not getting one next year…so maybe we find a ‘26…that would effectively compete for the job in ‘27.
Aeron Burrell was the #2 or #3 kicker in the 2024 class. How many scholarship kickers do you expect us to carry?

No he’s just a dick.
His son wasn’t offered a scholarship with LSU so he comes here and bitches how great his son is. Honestly, he can get the frick out and take his son with him.
That crybaby shite has gotten old.

His family doesn't even live in Louisiana. They are in Mississippi. It's not like LSU missed out on someone at Catholic High. LSU also didn't sign any kicker this class because we have a highly ranked kicker who just finished his freshman year.

But it is also true that LSU doesn't have a lot of credibility on the subject of special teams because we underperform there.

Y’all are fricked up.
I don’t care and never gave one shite if my son went to LSU…not one single frick.

That doesn't change the fact that we didn't offer his son or any other kicker this year.
Louisiana has 3 Kohl's top 50 kickers for 2026 so I'm sure we'll sign one of them. You can't take a kicker every year.

The best one is ranked 78th (he stopped going to Kohl’s). His brother was the best ‘24 in the state as well.
