Coleman is a great get. Hammink I hope he's not our next Derenbecker. European, high school age, competition isn't near what the US is not even close. Who else offered?

Not the same type of player. Pretty much the same as comparing Turner to Coleman.

And I think Florida and Iowa offered as well, thats pretty good too.

Neither are Eddie and Jalen so he'll manage.

He's not. He can fill in in spurts. He's definitely a 3. People are assuming we will be forced to go to a small lineup.

Excellant news,he reminds me of a few of the white boys that came through Florida. Very heady player who can score and handle the ball. He will def make his mark here before he leaves.

Dude, Hammink is nothing like Derenbecker, shows a ton more athleticism, elevates easily for dunks and rebounds. Watch more of his videos, then post. We didn't have a player on our team like that last year. He has height and long arms, can run the floor, shoot, dribble including play point forward, rebound, and defend the perimeter better than any player on our team from last season....

And dont say Ralston Turner either, Turner is glued to the floor, very little athleticism, spot up sharpshooter only. Will never forget when he tried to dunk with two on a fast break and didnt even get to the rim... also he regularly got shut down last season by anyone over 6'4 bc he cant elevate and shoot over them... he couldnt even get a pass off on the two swingmen from Kentucky Miller and Gilcrest (of course Gilscrests's a top 5 pick in the draft and Miller will be drafted but still)

You obviously don't know squat about this kid as a recruit so STFU. Hammink is likely to play a lot and/or start... He's that good, thats why Florida wanted him, and others

Sounds like Shane has been committed for a while and they have been waiting to release it. He and Coleman are obviously the two commits from last week.

can't wait for Johnny to wrap up recruiting and his staff and start getting to work promoting this team. He and a couple of the guys should be at the mall signing autographs, going to parks and handing out balls and shirts, hitting the schools in the fall... anything.

man when is there stop in Mandeville or Covington? Maybe I'll check it out. I wish he'd have a meet and greet like Les did when he first got to LSU. I was a student then and he took questions and shite. I'd love to hear him be a bit more candid than he has to be with the media.

fwiw Hammink was rated the 12th best player in Europe for his age this past season...

Does he play over Morgan?

Or is Morgan a natural 2 and Hammink a 3?

Morgan's def a 2. Hammink looks like he could play the 1,2, or 3 to be honest. Handles the ball well.
