On the last page him and Nodust were talking about trespassing on a golf course to catch frogs.

Where have you old fellers been? O40 Board rocking?
I should be doing homework, instead I'm dicking around on here. :casty: myself

Yeah, they have a following similar to Eli Young, a bunch of chicks. They put on a good show.
Do either of y'all fish the sandbar? I've heard of it, but don't know where it is (depthfinder on my boat doesn't work either). I know people load up on the bass and barfish there at a certain water level.
Awesome, I think he'll be a great player here at LSU
A small rise followed by another fall would be pretty sweet for out there.

Sexy shad was the only color I couldn't get them to bite on the other day and they only wanted the deep diving crankbaits off the point. I ripped it as hard as I could to sink it quick and then worked it shallow as possible.

I like this.
1911 - Springfield Armory or Kimber
AR - probably build my own
AK - cheap one, just to have
Remington 1187 12 gauge
Remington Vangaurd .204 Ruger
Damn, I'd love to pick one one of those up. May have to make a trip in on my way back from Shreveport. It's on my wishlist; a little ways down, but may have to grab one at that price.

football is different. there are 27 first team players in football as opposed to just 5 in basketball,

Actually in 2008 there were 9 on the first team and 8 in 2009.

I'm guessing;

Wall - UK
Downey - SC
Cousins - UK
Varnado - MSU
Ogilvy - Vandy
Patterson - UK
Thompkins - UGA

on the fringe or second team:
Chism - UT
Mitchell - LSU
Reed - Aub
Warren - MISS

Harris was very explosive last night. I was most surprised by him. I think he will be a big time contributor this year.

Taz looked solid.

Spencer looked really good. I expect to see him at the 2 a lot with Bass at the point.

Bass played very well at the point.

Dotson needs work. A little confidence will help him a lot.

Ludwig and Green didn't show me much on offense but provided some good D; especially Green. I don't look for him to score much this year.

Overall the team looked good. Need to work on the turnovers, but they looked very well coached.

:geauxtigers:
ESPN just said it was likely. Damn! That's going to be an even stronger team.

How long has it been since he's played he may be a little rusty.

Getting excited about this game. Had to give up my tickets but will be cheering them on from the comfort of my recliner. :geauxtigers:

re: starting DE's in 2009?

I'd say Alem on one side and Hicks (if they decide to play him at DE) or Levingston (heard several good things about him). But Corley, Agheyre, and Clement should all see significant time.

I'll actually start watching a little golf again. Helps with the lack of football.

Another is LSU guard Marcus Thornton.

 Marcus Thornton is a major factor as well.

re: Is a split this week acceptable?

Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost two of the next four. Vandy, UK, and UF are all very good teams. I think we win three of the four, hopefully all four. Either way we'll be the SEC Regular Season Champs. :lsu:
