I just don't get why it matters, its all information that can be public knowledge, who knows or cares how its obtained.

It is public knowledge. But if Sonny goes and blabs all of what was said and then, in turn, his subscribers blab what was said then there's a breach of trust and recruits won't talk to him in the future.
The intent of the cost is to make people privelaged. If they want to spend the money it's like they're joining a circle that has a gentleman's agreement not to break that trust.
Does that make sense? Essentially, if he wanted to say stuff in public to everyone then he'd do that but instead he chooses to use a portal that will take what he says and dispel it wisely so that it doesn't hurt or offend anyone or any part of the recruitment process. Maybe i'm weird........i don't know. That's just how i see it.

I think a little of it has to do with money.
Also, if I was the recruit, there wouldn't be a difference from Sonny telling 5000 people instead of 500 people.

ok well the story was up, I read it and I must say I feel good.
It sounds like he saw what he needed to see down here this past weekend. He hung out with players more than coaches and it seems he felt really comfortable.
He's gonna sit down with the family in the next week or two and talk it out.
I definately like our chances, more than ever.

No, it does not make sense. In this day and age, information has zero value. You can't copyright or TM information. Paying for information about recruits just encourages people to write a lot of stories insinuating certain things or generally alluding to what everyone thinks could happen.
Once information is transmitted, it's public knowledge. There is no binding contract that keeps anyone from passing on information he received on Tiger Droppings or any othere pay site. Sure, you can't just copy and paste someone else's work, but conveying the substance is not protected, regardless of what you think you agreed to when you joined a site.

I'm not just talking about articles. I believe they are all propaganda. You will never see an article written by a site from that school saying the visit sucked. I'm talking about information and things that Sonny gather's besides the article that are off the record. I just think it's tacky to put it all over here and I think it's a bit dangerous too.
Anyways, all I'm asking is don't post specific stuff about anything from paysites on here. Right or wrong, I'd appreciate it.

I read this board from time to time, rarely post (as you can see), so I'm not sure if you're a moderator. If you are, it's your world and I'm just living it. If you aren't, then your request is just that - a request, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with passing on information.
And as a side note, if the information is solid, then the writer should want it passed along. Writes live off publicity. Scooping other reporters, making headlines, breaking news... these are the things that get you noticed. If someone actually has exclusive access to information, then the only way for that person to get noticed is for that information to be passed along. The fact that someone would only want his information read by a select few makes me think the information has little value.
And as a side note, when someone does an interview, information is either "on the record" or "off the record." If it's "on," then it can be disseminated to anyone, and the interviewee does not care who finds out about it. If it's "off," then it can't be disseminated to anyone, not even a select few. All that is to say that no one gives an interview hoping that only 10 or 20 people find out about his responses.

How about you just accept the fact that its against this board's policy to post it? /debate

In addition, the posting of premium info verbatim is verboten. Do it at your peril.
If you had actually read my post, you would have seen that I specifically said that copying and pasting is protected and you can't do that. Sharing information is not. Kthanksbye

I don't think anyone can give a truly accurate account.
But my vibe is 85-90%

Let's stop dancing around it. Obviously, the reason people don't want premium information passed along this site is b/c if it becomes public knowledge the site is no longer worth the money. It's against this board's policy, and that is fine. But call it what it is - you aren't trying to protect the prospects, you are trying to protect your decision to pay for that information.
