STM's Cole Bergeron to Georgia Tech. Guess that makes it official that LSU isn't signing a high school QB this cycle.

Jalan Chapman just fipped to Ole Miss.

Is it still a flip when the new coaching staff pulls the original offer?

If he didn't sign with LSU, I'd consider it a flip.

He played some tackle in high school. Saw him play live a couple of times. Honestly if you told that kid to play DB, he would be better than half the state. Just a special athletic talent.

Was fun while it lasted. Down to Mathews to see if LSU can get a big name flip this cycle.

Scrolling through on3, There are only 12 players left not signed (could be less if they haven't updated recently). 3 are LSU commits (Brown, Geralds, and Cooley), and we've got some form of connection to 4 others: Russell, Matthews, Henry (Longest shot), and Berymon. Slim pickings for the next window. Another is Kenny Darby, though that ship seems to have sailed by our choice
There are 7 in the next 100, but we have ties to none of them
All of this to say the end talent is gone. I know this has been typical since ESD started, but I expected the number of what's still available in the top 250 to be closer to say 40-50

what are the chances LSU signs all the four listed as unsigned. they seem to be really critical to this class. Hopefully LK is in their ear.
Is today the last day to sign in this window. I was expecting to hear more good news already today. Is that not going to happen?

With Lamar Brown listed as an athlete, does that mean that LSU might actually run a jumbo backfield on 3 and short yardage rather than throwing wide side screens behind the los, or maybe even having the qb under center rather than shotgun on 4th and 1/2 yd? Some things just seem so obvious, that is head banger to watch LSU fail time and time again in the red zone running out of the shotgun starting 5 yds behind the los with our porous oline skill.

I get what you’re saying but is his primary position OT and will be primarily be utilized at offensive tackle? I’m confused why Chicken is listing him at this position.

Thank you Chicken, I was genuinely curious as I'm not as connected to the football program.
