Well considering the big issue in that game is poor QB play, and he is the #1 QB, I'd be thinking that game shouldn't affect the decision at all, IMO

Not really. Watching that game showed we clearly need a QB and it seems like a kid would be fine coming to a completely loaded team that won the sec.

Makes sense. Consider a team that went undefeated and went to the BCS NG for the 3rd time in the last 9 years or go to a team whose only bowl win in the last 9 years was over Hawaii.
If that's not the definition of toss up, I don't know what is.

Exactly if it was a WR I might would be concerned but as a qb I would have said that there were several passes called and several missed opportunities that I could have converted on.

This is what Im worried about. Without Kiel we go from deep at qb to razor thin if Mett goes pro after 2012.
