He doesn't have to enroll early too. So maybe he just comes later. #tryingtostaypositive

They may have swung 2 degrees from ND for their sons.

The most important thing in all this is that the Kiel Family has been silent.
If the rumors are all false and Gunner is still coming to LSU, don't you think they would have shot down the rumors by this time.

This makes me think he is going to ND.

It really is a shame. Miles is going have a very frustrated fan base with the recent turn of events.

Glad to know he will be watching LSU in a BCS Bowl Game next season. Oh well.

Do you really think their would be no repercussions for that horrible planning with zero foresight?

I highly doubt Kiel's decommittal (if he does) has anything to do with Miles. There's this school called Notre Dame. His entire family has probably been trying to get him to go there since birth.

You have to admit, there is a difference between a kid committing early, say at the beginning or mid senior year, then changing his mind months later as the process plays out. Compared to a kid that commits, goes through the process, decommits after the season, then a few weeks later changes his mind again. The latter is much more detrimental to the team offering. And the appearance becomes much more game playing on the recruits part, attention whoring, as opposed to genuine reconsideration.

What about Miles pulling a scholarship after a kid enrolled in classes at LSU. The shoe is on the other foot now.

that's what PP did, though

he was a miami commit, then decommitted, and signed with LSU late in the process

Yeah, and also got them on probation.

idk, its interesting to discuss but back to kiel...

Agreed. I would like to sit down and look at it.

You'd have to hammer out a lot of parameters.

Patrick Peterson would be one that goes against it, since he decommitted from Miami and his signing with LSU was even questioned for the longest time.

Rantards will be rantards. It was put in very understanding terms to me at one time:
"To find out if he's a rantard, ask him what offensive play he would call on 3rd and 14. If he says "hail Mary" within a 3 second time frame, he can post on the rant."
Or
Ask him if he thinks 2011 lsu can beat 2011 colts....his answer will tell you all you need to know

*sigh* the notre dame players actually really like BK despite his sideline antics. he is just competitive and expects a lot out of his team. the latest quotes from manti teo and tyler eifert (who both chose to return for their SR years instead of go to the NFL) further confirm that BK is a fine person to play for. the media can spin it how they wish, but nothing from inside the notre dame program reveals that BK is a bad person...

You mean the school he originally decommited from to commit to LSU?

I'll be pissed when it's official but for now I'm just whatever on the matter. Either way it's not the end of the world. We have Mett for two years. Then two guys that could be great QB's for all we know. And still two more years of recruiting before we have to fill a qb void. If the kid wants to be an idiot then let him. If he wants to win then let him come on down.

If your kid was a hotshot stud QB and you had just seen what happened in the BCS CG, would you look around or not?
