Don't worry about it. If he's not a 5 star or doesn't live on I-10 they don't care. I'm glad he finally got recognition from LSU for his talent.

Its not that we dont care, just that it was posted to the wrong board and he wanted to argue that.

He's already graduated and is a preferred walk on for the football team. Was supposed to walk on for the baseball and football teams this upcoming year. With his 4.0, he won't require a baseball scholarship so that helps.

They will see. This kid is a class act and will take LSU by storm. The same guys posting on this thread will be bragging about him in the spring.

I'm not trying to be a dick at all, so if I was perceived to be like that, I didn't mean it to be interpreted like that.

I'd like for this kid to be successful and get on with the team. Mainieri saw something in him to offer him to play on the summer team, wants to see what he's got. That's a start.

I wish the kid the best, honestly.

I'm talking about the Dad/Uncle comments. I've never met the kid, but I brought him up multiple times on this board. I was told I was just being a homer because he was from North LA. Kid is legit.

Actually he was called in by CPM and asked to play for the Baseball team. I don't know how much of a Scholarship was given if any, but he informed the football coaches that he would be only playing Baseball at LSU.

Sounds good, smart choice IMO. From what I remember his career stats were 20-3 with a 1.00 ERA and .484 batting average in 5 years. 3 state titles in baseball, 2 trips to the Dome with another ring there. MVP in both baseball and football championships this year. 6'2" 185 4.47 forty at Bama camp last summer. In previous posts I said he reminded me a lot of Mikie and I'll stand by that comparison. Oh, except he's a lefty.

All good, man. No hard feelings.

Sincerely, I wish the kid the best and would like to see him out on the diamond in Alex Box. Sounds like he is extremely talented.

You are making it sound like we are talking down on the kid? You need to relax and not be so defensive.

Saw him play a few times against my son at Delhi Charter. He's a great athlete. Never saw him in baseball, but he can motor.

I sure hope so. His girlfriend was telling me that he may end up just sticking with baseball in the long run.
