Getting Harbor here would be unreal!!!!!

There are some great players already committed, but getting this dude would be unbelievable. Give him the farm and let him play where and what he wants. No pole vaulting, though.

And he's also 6'5. Those measurables are terrifying.

Crown are you sure that the staff wants him exclusively at Jack? I've read good reasons for him to play TE. 1. not having to put on weight, 2. Keeping his body fresh for Track by cutting down on the wear and tear. There's a video posted by 247 sports on YouTube just 3 weeks ago where he literally says that he's leaning towards offense because of track. Would the staff really risk losing him bc they have a different vision, we do have a future star Jack in Mickens but still no star TE. I don't think they're dictating terms to him, there are more reasons for him to play TE, all stated in the post from 8/2, before all this inside info came out. I think if he wants TE he gets it. I just want him on the team

He will be sold the opportunity of playing both ways occasionally. I believe they have him at tight end and an occasional cheetah package on the edge.

That would be a really hard thing to turn down. A guy could be the first heisman winner that plays on the los. It could happen.

Now that idea I could definitely see working and it would jive with everything I've seen, read and thought about him. That idea makes the most sense and he would become easily the biggest LSU star since Mathieu, maybe bigger. I love it. I'll say it again, he's coming to LSU

Someone needs to tell him he is a DE and the NFL pays way more than the olympics. Maybe tell him after he signs.

So he can transfer after year 1?

The kids gotta be sold on his fit in the program and how the program fits his future

he’s a young Javon Kearse, in my eyes. He kind of reminds me of a slimmer Quency Wiggins.

How accurate is that 100m time? That translates to like a 4.2 in the 40 I have a hard time believing that's a real number.

Sounds like the staff is selling him on being an offensive weapon from what wiltfong said.

Think on his 247 profile it says 10.28 100 meters verified track time.

Yeah, I know he's a freak but that seems hard to believe unless it's laser timed. Not many people in history at that size are that fast.

We are in the perfect position to market ourselves to Harbor. BK being a big TE guy, he literally just admitted that TE is a huge hole in this roster, Harbor is an athlete that could play a huge role from day 1, no ifs ands or buts.

The 10.28 is listed on the official IAAF site as well with a very mild, legal wind. That’s as legit as you’re going to get.

Now there are two types of sprinters: the fast starters and the strong closers.

Fast starters would include Christian Coleman, Marvin Bracy, and Donovan Bailey.

Strong closers would include Justin Gatlin,
Fred Kerley, and Michael Johnson.

Bolt is so damn good that he is both but more of a strong closer.

If we’re looking at elite but not world-class times like sub 10.3, it’s certainly possible for a strong closer to run a 4.45 while a fast starter with the same 100 time could be in the 4.2 range.

But as fast (and legit) as his time is, there’s pretty much no way Harbor is slower than the high 4.4s

Considering his age and size, that makes him one of the biggest athletic freaks I’ve ever seen.

With that size and speed he could play anywhere on the field. Dude would kill people at running back.

this is where we have Michigan beat. They are the better academic school, but one avenue open to Harbor is professional track. No reason to close this door at 18 years old. Going to Michigan and running track will not of close that door, but we have an excellent history of developing sprinters. I hope he will want to be a part of that.
