Thanks AP, keep us in the loop so we don't listen to spiderboy.

So does he want to be a starting QB in the NFL or does he want a "better" education?
Why not both? "frick this kid for valuing an education"

Because 1 of those schools is gonna get you drafted in the 1st round if you're good enough.
The other 2? Maybe.
If you're good at football, go to the team that's got a recent track record of good development and high draft picks. You'll be so rich in 20 years that you can buy a degree at any school in the country.

education is very important to Elijah, both of his parents are in the medical field so I'm sure they care a lot about getting his degree

Again, why not both? J.J. McCarthy was just the 10th overall pick.

Cool.
Daniels was #2 and was worth 8 extra wins i. Washington as a rookie.
Hes going to make a lot more money than McCarthy.
So whose smarter? The one that went to Michigan, or the one that's going to make more money?

I personally don't think McCarthy is that great. I think Jayden is just a better football player. So if JJ is out of the league in 4 years, a Michigan degree might be better than a LSU degree...
Do you think that if JJ went to LSU and Jayden went to Michigan that JJ would end up making more money?

I think LSU would have been able to get a little more out of McCarthy than Michigan did.
Daniels is a physical freak though.

Probably. I also think that many of these top recruits have supreme confidence and think that they can win wherever they go. I think Haven probably looks at someone like "McCarthy and says, well if he can do it why wouldn't I be able to?"

Do you think 2024 LSU could have defeated Ohio State or Alabama at any point last season? Michigan did. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to too see that they had a coaching advantage over us and nil advantage. Also they had a first round QB drafted in 2024.

Yeah, they didn't get where they are without a lot of confidence.
I'd understand it a lot more if you were talking about 2 schools that had similar development athletically, but Michigan isn't comparable to LSU in terms of giving a QB what he needs to shine.

I’m hearing Michigan is front runner for that other LA QB. Zeigler.
excerpt about a 2027 QB that michigan may be getting

Could Michigan be the next prominent program to land a quarterback? I wouldn’t be surprised.
The two I’m looking at are Rivals No. 8 quarterback Peter Bourque and the No. 25-ranked passer Malachi Zeigler. After hosting many of the nation’s top arms for camp over the summer, those two have become top-of-the-board targets for the Wolverines staff. Both are equally as high on a potential future playing for the Maize and Blue.

I have seen him play multiple times and he’s hands down the best high school player I’ve ever seen in person.
I like the kid but you must be related to him. That’s just not true!
He has a huge arm and moves well for someone his size. He is slow through his progression (which is common for HS). He’s talented but he’s raw. Still has a lot to work on.

I no longer give a shite about the QB position. LSU is one of the blue bloods that is either going to have a big time recruit or a big time transfer or both at all times.
