not sure..I assumed since we were recuriting spence

We already have a couple and Spence was just a guy you make room for if you happen to get him. He wasn't someone that was being recruited just because we need another DE.

you mean like jim tressel?

Meyer's recruiting is on another level in comparison to Tressel. He's now landed two 5*, a 4*, kept another 5* in the fold (Dunn) and it's arguable that he has one more 5* (Washington) as Washington committed on the weekend he was hired.

Tressel did not have a good record when it came to landing the high * kids.

well thats your opinion and appreciate for sharing it but there is no way to know unless someone is directly related to recruiting staff that we need one more or just recuriting in case we just happen to have him

you can not be serious.

pryor, d bell, corey brown, adams, brewster, posey, beanie, etc, were all 5 stars.

JT landed top 5 classes on regular.

If it was a need there would be several more on the board already. They didn't have all of their eggs in the basket of a player in Pennsylvania.

Yes he got some top recruits but we never got multiples of them in a year. He'd land one here and there. Three of the kids you named were Ohio kids. They were going to end up at Ohio State. Now we're in the running for the national 5* kids. Not just the Ohio and PA ones (with the exception of Brewster).

Oops Chucky actually had .5 sack and 17 tackles this year. So closer to Rasco than Mickey.

4 years ago. Tell me he did that recently or consistently. Ohio State's classes weren't ranked as highly as I think you think they were under Tressel.

OSu will play for the MNC in two years. They have an easy path to the game and Urban will field a good product.

He better tweak his scheme though. It ain't worth shite without a freak qb.
